Makeup & Beauty Tips on How to Apply Glitter

Share your best tips and tricks for applying glitter!  Feel free to share your first experiences, how you’ve grown, what you’ve learned, and what, ultimately, you found most helpful in learning how to apply glitter.  (And if you haven’t conquered it, hopefully some of these tips will help you get there!)

Temptalia’s Tips

1. It’s more about the adhesive/base/medium you use with the glitter that will make or break it. Most glitters are not designed to adhere on their own!  You want a sticky base–my favorite is Lit Cosmetics’.
2. Use a flat, firm brush without a lot of fluff, and then pat on the glitter where you want it. Avoid sweeping, which can cause fall out.
3. You can use glitter liquid eyeliner painted over eyeshadow and the like to avoid the hassle of adhesives!
