    • Stephanie D

Thanks! I’m sure you can too! I usually don’t do bold lips very often because I always do so much on my eyes but sometimes I just have a little fun. Just try it and I bet you’ll get a million compliments!

i like the lips…the eyes are a bit much for me though

    • Stephanie D

Thank you- although I feel the total opposite! I feel like it is too much on my lips. I always just go overboard with my eyes, it’s just my style and I don’t feel like me without a lot of dark on my eyes.

  15. Patty

BTW, Do you think you can show us a closer look at the eye?! It’s simply amazing!

    • Stephanie D

I did send some closer views in but unfortunately the camera that I used sucks and the close up shots always come out blurry so that’s why I don’t think they were posted. But, I did just buy a new camera so I’m sure I’ll be sending some more looks in in the future. I would feel more comfortable doing more stuff like that on the forum but I have some trouble doing stuff on there.

Zzainy- I’m glad you love it! Yeah, I didn’t fall in love with Naughty Nauticals at first. I mean, I love that theme for summer but I’m usually not into blue eyes and red lips at the same time. I actually didn’t purchase alot of stuff from that line, but I got inspired!

  25. Christine

Stephanie’s looks really pretty. But where could I wear a look like this? I mean seriously, I want to try this look but I don’t think this is even appropriate for a date or clubbing.

    Any suggestion?

  26. Stephanie D

I wore this to work! I’m a hairdresser so I can get away with it :) I think I actually went out to a really nice restaurant that same night with my husband. I just took the red lips off (because I hate eating with lipstick on and I usually forget I have it on and smudge it with my hand by accident) to tone it down a little. I also took the braid out of my hair and changed. All the little details really make a difference. But if you do a good job, wear it out! Who cares?!, it’s fun. Damn Christine-you should definitely be wearing your looks out!!!

  27. gio

    This is stunning!

  28. kibitz

I think the eyeshadow would be a lot more wearable if the lashes were more natural looking. i.e. a set that was fuller in the outer corners and more sparse in the inner corners.

The uniform fullness of these lashes make your eyes look a little cartoon-like. It kind of looks like stage makeup now– whereas different lashes might make it look more sophisticated (Not to mention call greater attention to the stunning blending work you did with the shadows).

    • Stephanie D

Thanks for the suggestion kibitz. These lashes are actually shorter in the inner corner but they do look uniform in these pictures.

  29. Jenny

Awesome look Stephanie! I love how the eyelashes are dramatic yet it doesn’t overpower the eyeshadow!! BTW, great brows!! Looking forward to more of your looks!
