Guerlain Rouge Broderie (#321) Kiss Kiss Strass Lip Color Review, Photos, Swatches

Guerlain Rouge Broderie Kiss Kiss Strass Lipstick

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Strass:  Rouge Broderie

Guerlain Rouge Broderie (#321) Kiss Kiss Strass Lip Color ($31.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a nearly opaque raspberry red with fuchsia and red shimmer. It has a very glittery, shimmery look with a particularly glossy finish. It’s a lipstick that doesn’t need a gloss to give it that wet look (though you could still certainly layer if you wanted to). Rouge Broderie may be the most standout shade of the ten shades released in the Kiss Kiss Strass formula, just because it’s vibrant and bold without being overwhelming.

Kiss Kiss Strass comes in typical Guerlain packaging, except it comes in silver casing rather than the gold casing of Kiss Kiss Strass. The lipstick still has the traditional sweetened rosy scent of Guerlain lip products, and it’s not quite as subtle as the Rouge G line, though not as heavy as the Kiss Kiss range either. The pricing is typical to Guerlain lip products, which doesn’t make them the most affordable brand if you’re on the hunt for a lipstick! However, Guerlain does exceptional lip color, both from the shades to the quality and feel of their formulas.

Wow that's a pretty color! I really like the "stain" effect in red, actually. This color reminds me of Dior Ultra-Gloss Reflect in Red Stockings.

OMG Christine, I love it, I must have it, gorgeousness abounds !!!!!!

I dont know about kiss kiss strass. Seems like its just glitter and now much pigment at all. Is it layerable?

It gave me plenty of pigment for me? It's not an opaque lipstick, but it definitely gives my lips a totally different look/color.

Looks like New York Apple by MAC is a better, much more affordable option for this color.

not crazy about it, looks like a gloss, doesn't cover completely.

Hmm, it seems a lot sheerer on the lips but I'm loving the shimmer! Maybe in a nice coral?

Sigh, it looks so gorgeous in the tube!

Wow what a beautiful shade of red! I am a total sucker for red lipsticks! Unfortunately, I think this one is a little out of my price range. :(

Hm, I expected this to be way more pigmented considering how it looks in the tube. Still pretty, but I wouldn't buy it.

What a pretty color! Not to much, but enough. Not harsh and very pretty for spring.

It so beautiful in the tube. This is certainly a more wearable color for us gals who are quite terrified of reds.

oooh, pretty. I actually prefer it when deep or dramatic lipsticks aren't totally opaque, so I'll try to check this one out.

Aw it's such a shame it doesn't look as pretty on the lips as it does in the tube

This is gorgeous! Pity it isn't completely opaque though..

ooh Christine your blog is the #1 page I visit before I start work. Perfect start to drab monday mornings especially :D I love this colour, I already splurged on two lancome lipstics...now this one...ah..

Oh yes!!!! I LOVE this red! It looks so..... Expensive! :). Actually, it is expensive!! I would not easily pay that much for a lipstick on my budget, but I love this colour so much, I might just. Thank you for this review. I really like it. I might just go and get it, despite my bank balance. :)

Ooh, I've just ordered this from eBay, I'm so excited, can't wait to get it! :)

Wow that looks amazing! Hey Christine, this is an absolutely random question. I've been eyeing Illamasqua make up for quite a while now. I live in Canada, and you probably know that they don't sell the brand here. I was trying to get stuff off Sephora but they wouldnt let me check out the Illamasqua products :( Is there anyway I can get Illamasqua in Canada?

I think you can order directly from Illamasqua, since they are UK based and I know people in the U.S. would order via their website directly before it was in Sephoras!

That's a great colour!!! I think it would look good on dark skin too!

It looks pretty in the tube, but was a bit disappointed to see it wasn't as pigmented on your lips. Not that it looks bad, it's still pretty.

It is pretty but it looks like a pigmented lipgloss.
