Givenchy Prsime Again! Blush for Subtle Pops of Color & Shimmer

Posted in: Blushes, Cheeks, Givenchy

Givenchy Prisme Again! Blush Quartet in Euphoric Orange ($40.00) looks intimidating at first, but it is really a great pop of coral for your cheeks. I truly thought, “No way!” when I first saw it, but lo and behold, it is a much subtler color when it’s actually used. What I’ve noticed isn’t that it isn’t pigmented, but the product itself is very silky and fine, so when it lays down on the face, it blends so effortlessly into your skin. This results in a very natural coral glow, nothing garish or clownish whatsoever. Also, the shimmer is very subtle; when you see it, it has more to do with how the light hits your face than seeing chunks of glitter or shimmery bits. Overall, it’s such a natural coloring that I often wear this on my minimal makeup days. I’ll pair it with lightly mascara-coated lashes and a Philosophy Lip Shine. I might have to try some more Givenchy blushes soon!

It’s such a great pop of coral-orange, but not OTT orange.

How pretty! I absolutely adore coral blushes, and this one seems to be no exception. I love the subtle shimmer, too…I agree with the previous commenter that said that a full-face shot would be lovely.

Can you use the shades individually in a Givenchy blush? I’ve never seen them in person before, but from your picture it seems like it would be easy enough. I’m loving the look of that colour in the upper left hand corner.

I swear I took one, but I can’t seem to locate it. I’ll have to use it soon.

You could use them separately, but the compact itself is small so it’s not really practical, LOL.

I’m actually really intrigued! It looks really pretty both in swatch and in the package

I honestly thought it would be terrible, but it’s such a nice, wearable coral-orange.

I’ve just purchased 2 of the Prisme Again! Blushes: 01: Timid Rose (very light pink), and 14: Charming Violet. I can use them seperately and I can mix them together to get a beautiful pink shade (which will be exactly as 02: Loving Pink). Moreover you can play with the colours sweeping your brush vertically or horizontally on the squares.
