Haul: Saturday is my birthday so I will do more shopping at Sephora and Ulta. However, I started early since I have been saving for two months now! I ordered some of the new NYX Butter Lipsticks and butter glosses during the 20% off at Ulta, plus I had rewards points expiring soon so I got a really good deal on them. I also got two of the Maybelline Vivids (Vibrant Mandarin and Hot Plum) during that sale. I have SPRING on the brain!! I only got one thing from the new MAC collection, Heavenly Hybrid lipstick. From Macys, I got one of the Smashbox Wondervision sets on sale for $24 (for three full sized products), a restock on my Stila Stay All Day liner, an Urban Decay Naked gloss, and the Clinique Plum Pop blush.

Weekend plans: Birthday dinner party with my friends and shopping around in Ulta/Sephora.

Do you love to cook?: Yes! But I rarely have anyone to cook for. I am single, without children, so I typically prepare too much food and get sick of it before it is all gone :(

  2. Haul: Urban Decay Naked2 (Yes, I know, I’m late to the game); Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation in Pearl (just a sample to try it out – it’s clinging to my dry patches but I think it’d be wonderful for summer); Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer; FAB Facial Radiance Pads; Various fragrance samples! Now I’m on a no-buy until after my birthday at the end of the month.

Weekend Plans: I’m taking out my mother to dinner for her birthday. I haven’t seen her in about a month so I think it’ll be a nice time as long as the weather holds out! Also lots of Olympics watching. I’m a sucker for figure skating.

Do you love to cook? ….. YES. This is a passion that I would actually put over makeup, lol! I am even at the infant stages of starting a food blog. I’ve catered before, and I make every effort to cook everything from scratch, even breads. I’m planning to cook mussels and crusty bread for Valentine’s Day but I’m a little stuck on dessert ideas. Maybe eclairs or profiteroles. The husband has been asking for some ice cream, and if I make a nice minty ice cream to go into some cream puff dough and douse it all in chocolate… Well it seems like a tasty idea. :-)

  3. Haul: I think I ACTUALLY escaped this week without a haul… I did buy a Kora moisturiser?
Weekend plans: Work! And study. I am going to a housewarming tomorrow night too :)
Do you love to cook?: I’m liking it more and more! It’s so rewarding, and great way to destress after a long day… yes I can’t believe I’m saying it either!!

  4. Oh goodness. I’ve gotten so much this week. Pretty much all the lipsticks and glosses from the new MAC collection, plus the MSF and blushes.

Weekend plans? Uhh laundry. And my fiance is running a 10K so I have to go cheer him on.

Cooking? I love it when I get him to do the dishes right afterwards!

  5. ■Haul: Some Milani lipsticks!
■Weekend plans: Study, study, study. The big, bad cardiovasular system! D:
■Do you love to cook? I do! But I usually only do it on holidays because when I cook is go crazy or go home! :D

  6. LOL it must be REALLY heavy to have Mellan on your lap! Don’t think I’ve let a big dog do that ;)

Haul: Guerlain Tenue de Perfection foundation! I was given a generous dose of sample a while ago, and it has become my go-to.

Weekend plans: Lunch with friends, grocery-shopping, blogging, and some more sleep would be really nice!

Do you love to cook?: I’d say so! At the very least, it doesn’t bother me. I do think I prefer baking to cooking though.

  7. Michael

    Hello!

Are you going to review MAC Prep+Prime CC Colour Correction line? I just CANNOT wait!!! :)

  8. I loooooove seeing the Mellan pic of the week!! He is so darn adorable. I look forward to it every Friday because, well, I just love animals. Have a great weekend!!!

  9. Avatar of KaseyCannuck KaseyCannuck

Haul: I got totally NAKED!! I had a 10% off card for Sephora, and they had Naked 3 as well as Naked 1 back in stock, so….now #2 has company!! My order from StarCrushed Minerals also arrived. Lots of goodies to play with this week!!

Weekend plans: None. Well…housecleaning :( Fun plans: NONE!

Do you love to cook?: Gah!! NO!! I like baking though ;)

    • Oooh! Have fun with the new Naked palettes :D Which one are you going to use first?

      • Avatar of KaseyCannuck KaseyCannuck

I dove into #1 and my daughter did likewise with #3 as soon as we walked in the door lol!! I’ve been using mostly #1 all week but have #3 on today. My daughter has been wearing #3 almost every day. She totally rocks rose gold!

I can’t believe I forgot to mention my MAC haul that came Monday, maybe because I willed it out of my mind…”Perfect Peach Frost Topping”, along with an empty palette, a 15-pan insert, and Cranberry and Steamy to put in it. I’ve been eyeing these two colours since forever!

  10. I totally went “aaawwwwww” at Mellan’s bed. Never knew he had a title! :D

Haul: My friend brought me some make-up organizers and Masami Shouko brushes from Indonesia. There might also be a cheeky Cherry Culture order containing Milani and Jordana items. (wish they’d start using Priority flat rate for international shipping!)

Weekend plans: It’s going to be 40°C/104°F and I injured myself after falling on asphalt last night, so I’m staying in. :/

Do you love to cook?: I do, but it can be challenging cooking and not overworking my bad hand. I most definitely don’t enjoy cooking during summer, though. Just let me drown in ice cream.

  11. Awww, I love this pic. Mellan is such a cute-cute-cute dog I just want to hug him. And I swear I can see all the love for you in his eyes.

  12. Sara

My boyfriend makes the same face as Mellan, lol!!! That’s one thing in common with guys and puppies, they love getting scratched behind the ears.

  13. CKG

Chanel Melodieuse and Fougueuse RAs, YSL Rose Neillia and Rose Asarine RVs and Burberry Golden Peach SLC

I’m hoping to have a good weekend whatever we do

I like the idea of cooking but not having to do all the dirty dishes as I cook

  14. Aww..what a sweet little face!

Haul- I’m making a trip to Sephora tomorrow, and I’m also making a MAC lipstick order.
Weekend plans- Shopping at Sephora, and relaxing the rest of the time.
Do you love to cook?- Lol, it’s a running joke with my family at Thanksgiving, that I bring the napkins..I think that says it all. (I can cook, but I despise it) ;-)

  15. That look… who could resist? :-)

Haul: Vichy skin care, and some Bourjois make-up

Weekend plans: Finally get out of the house again tomorrow. It will be on crutches so I won’t be able to party hard, but still, I look forward to doing something fun.

Do you love to cook?: Love is a bit strong… I’d say like :-)

  16. Avatar of Mar A. Mar

Haul: Diesel Loverdose, MAC Heavenly Hybrid.
Weekend plans: Cleaning, writing and hibernating in a blanket.
Do you love to cook?: I do! I’ve become used to it, though. Once I stopped using recipes, I started having more fun.

  17. Haul: UD Naked Loose Powder. OPI Gwen Stefani set of 4 minis!! Small haul this week!! I’m hoping to get to the mall this weekend- depends if we have a snow storm or not!! I am really hoping to get to Lush- I’ve never bought anything there and I really want to try it out!!
Weekend plans: Hopefully the mall :) try to clean a bit…
Cooking: I love cooking, but not as much as eating :p but I hate the clean up!!!

  18. Haul: That tarte matte palette (couldn’t resist it’s just too pretty) and the colored clay collection that launched on QVC from tarte this week (ordered from a treadmill at the gym spur of the moment hehe).

Weekend plans: Well I just came down with a cold so probably not too much. Have just a few movies left to see in my Oscar list though and I’d like to watch those!

Do you love to cook?: I do and I’m not bad really but I hate the cleanup AND I dirty every pot and pan and dish in the kitchen when I cook. I’m the same way when I dress. My room can be completely clean until I get dressed in the morning and then there are clothes all over the floor. LOL

  19. Haul: My order of two Julep polishes, Rosa and Hope, should arrive today or tomorrow.

Weekend Plans: Friday night dinner and drinks with friends, Saturday night wine and live music with a girlfriend, Sunday Badger basketball game!

Do I like to cook: Very much! I’m in the very early stages of opening my own bakery/cafe!

  20. Haul: Three pieces from Dior’s Trianon collection: Bloom nail polish, Exquise lip gloss and Allegresse lipstick (went on a pink binge lol); NYX lip liners 835 Pinky and 816 Fuchsia and Deep Purple e/s; OPI Miss You-niverse; L’Oreal infallible Purple Priority; MAC huggable lipstick Feeling Amourous? (I love this formula, I wish I had bought more before they started to sell out); First Aid Beauty set (a great value).

Weekend plans: We might go see The Monuments Men (with that cast it’s hard to resist).

Do you love to cook?: I do. That being said, I don’t cook often. But if I have a good recipe (I’m not inventive enough with food to create my own stuff), I do enjoy making it while listening to good music or a lecture/documentary on astronomy, string theory, quantum physics, or anything interesting like that :).

  22. Haul: Deodorant

Weekend: Entertaining on Sunday, cleaning, shopping, and baking on Saturday

Do I love to cook: YES! I’m about to break in my new Le Creuset in Marseille tonight and for Sunday I’ll be making antipasti, Lamb Ragù with Gnocchi, and Italian Wedding Cookies. We’re also doing a blind wine tasting with Italian offerings.

  23. Haul: Nars Tokyo duo, Cargo Yukon eye shadow, Alpha Hydrox Retinol Night Res-q (2 tubes) and 12% Glycolic Souffle cream (2 tubes). The last 3 items were courtesy of hubby, who was in the US golfing and was nice enough to do an Ulta haul for me

Weekend plans: taking it easy this weekend (no visiting guests, no family obligations) so we’ll go to yoga and the gym and do a bit of cooking to have some lunch goodies frozen

Do you like to cook: I love to cook although with teaching Food and Nutrition (when I teach full time, it means cooking with 3 classes twice a week so that’s 5 or 6 kitchens of students X 3 class X twice a week) there are times when the LAST thing I want to do when I get home is cook, since I’ve been cooking all day long. But generally, I love to cook, I’m a pretty good cook and have a huge collections of cookbooks and cooking magazines for inspiration.

  24. I wouldn’t be able to resist Mellan’s eyes either. He’s so adorable! :D

Haul: Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm; Chanel Le Blush Creme in Chamade and Intonation, Le Vernis in Charivari, Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Melodieuse and Palpitante, Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour in Triomphe; Cure Natural Aqua Gel; Guerlain Blanc de Perle Mattifying Hydrating Emulsion, Rouge G in Gisela, Tenue de Perfection Foundation in Ambre Clair 32; Tom Ford Cheek Color in Ravish, Lip Color in Casablanca, Lip Color Sheer in Firecracker and Paradiso.

Weekend plans: Relax with friends and maybe squeeze in a little bit of shopping.

Do you love to cook?: Yes! I’m passionate about food, discovering new ingredients and techniques always excite me. Plus, I also find baking and cooking therapeutic. I don’t like cleaning up though, so thank heavens for household help. :)

  25. Haul: Nothing this week!

Weekend plans: STUDY! Maybe catch up on some TV shows, possibly a Pretty Little Liars marathon.

Do you love to cook?: Love to eat, hate to cook. Might be a good thing, otherwise I’d probably be really, really fat, lol.

  26. Got two tops from JCP and a new pair of shoes from Target that I’m a little so-so about right now. I really needed a new pair of shoes though. My dad just bought me the Smitten Chromalust from Sugarpill for VDay.

After uploading a new video this morning, my plans for the weekend is a series for my blog. That’s gonna take a lot of typing & planning.

Haul: The three pinks from MAC’s Fantasy for Flowers. Or at least, they’re supposed to arrive today but it looks like UPS is behind.

Weekend plans: I have a busy weekend for once! Rowing race tomorrow morning, then coaching the Jr team, and in the evening, a party at a ranch out in the Texas hill country.

Do you love to cook?: No, I never really learned how and every time I try a recipe, I’m always disappointed in it. I mostly eat take out from Whole Foods.

  28. Avatar of Barbie Barbie

Haul: A textbook for school haha

Weekend plans: My sinuses are acting up so i’m just going to chill

Do you love to cook?: I do love to cook!

and that face! i wanna kiss him on the nose

  29. Avatar of Urfa StrangeOne

Haul: Finally gave in and ordered YSL Touche Eclat. It’s supposed to help dark circles but I am firmly pessimistic. I’ll just end up with an expensive highlighter that does nothing.
Weekend plans: To stop procrastinating and get my thesis done. *sob*
Do you love to cook?: I burn water.

    • Good luck with Touche Eclat!

    • Avatar of Veronica Veronica

I have no idea why Touche Eclat is marketed by so many stores as a dark circle corrector – it’s really intended as a facial highlighter. :| My recommendation for under eye circles is Benefit Lemon-Aid. I find it helps to defuse the dark circles better than most most, and it meshes well with other products if you want a concealer over top. (I always recommend setting with a light powder, though, especially if you haves lines under your eyes like I do.)

      • Avatar of Urfa StrangeOne

Thanks for the recommendation! That’s next on my to try list. And yes I have lines!

I’ve always felt the same about the Touche Eclat but last week I was wearing my favourite drugstore bb cream which still surprises me by how full and natural coverage is (Garnier). I realized the secret was it just reflects the light back. Even my blacker than black dark circles almost disappear.

To make them fully go I need just a little bit extra but any other product kills the no makeup look (especially shimmery highlighters) so I’m hoping Touche Eclat will reflect without getting in my lines or being obviously shimmery (There are a couple of people who think my skin is really that good hehe and I’d like to keep that illusion)

        • Avatar of Veronica Veronica

Touche Eclat will definitely brighten the area and make it less noticeable, it just won’t…hmm, I guess I would say you can still tell the skin under your eyes is darker than your cheeks, it’s just not SCARY RACCOON EYES OF DOOM anymore, yeah? I found L’Oreal’s drug store knockoff of Touche Eclat (Magic Lumi…pretty much the same product, honestly) works really great for my lid area where I have milder staining than my undereye area. I do like the illuminating effect of Eclat/Lumi, but as I’m an NW10 in the winter, the Benefit product just gives it that little extra kick, y’know? Either way, I think Touche Eclat earns its price tag, I just generally prefer it as a facial rather than undereye highlighter.

    • Avatar of Maggie Maggie

I have persistent dark circles due to allergies and YSL Touche Eclat doesn’t have enough coverage for me. I either reach for a full coverage concealer or color correct first. Cancel out the color you don’t want with its complementary color. Benefit Lemon-aid, bc it’s very yellow–would correct dark purple-ish circles. Cancel out blue-ish circles with orange (normally tinted peach/salmon), cancel out reddish circles with green, etc. Blend, blend! Top with a foundation. If I’m too lazy to deal with color-correcting, I reach for a high coverage concealer.

Drugstore options: NYX has lots of color correctors in several formulations. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser for Dark Circles has a couple too.

A bit pricier: MUFE Camoflage palette? Graftobian HD Glamour Creme Palette in Corrector? It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye concealer. Bobbi Brown Corrector. Or Bobbi Brown Concealer.

  30. Awww… Nothing is cuter than a fur-baby who wants cuddles.

Haul: I went to an YSL event last night and ended up picking up one of the Glossy Stains and one of the nail polishes from the Spring collection.

Weekend plans: Spending time with friends and getting some cleaning/ laundry done. Although since I’m now working from home, “weekend” is a bit of a loose concept.

Do you love to cook? Absolutely. Preparing our annual Christmas dinner is seriously one of the highlights of my year and having an appreciative audience for a meal makes me glow with pride.

Do You Love to Cook: I do love to cook! My specialty is red sauce and pasta (I’m half Italian). I also love to cook fish, roasted veggies, or anything that isn’t like baking and pastries.

  33. Bre

    Weekend Plans:
Want to purge my ever growing MU stash/ catch up on my recorded shows & maybe go see Lego movie

    Do you love to cook?
I love making breakfast @ anytime….yes ever since I became a healthier weight its important I see & know all the ingredients that are added to my meals.

I love that SIR MAGELLAN bed, I cant wait till my Piggie get’s here :)

  34. Mellan is adorable, as is the fact that his seat says ‘Sir Magellan’ – that cracks me up! :-D

Haul: Do nectarines being on epic sale in the store, and buying a tonne of them count as a haul? :-D I love me some stone fruit…

Weekend plans: The usual festival of ballet and thesis writing/procrastination!

Do you love to cook?: Depends on the dish and how many appliances I have – general stove(top) cooking is usually fun, but I’m not a huge fan of any baking that involves creaming butter and sugar together unless I have a stand mixer. :-P

Oh, I just love Mellan’s sweet face! I actually LOL’d at his “pet me now” eyes. :) My Chihuahuas just stand on my chest or my shoulder if they want me to pet them!

Haul: jane eyeshadow primer, Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Soap and a Hello Kitty mug. All from Amazon. That Amazon is so tempting, especially since we have Prime!

Weekend plans: Relax! I’m an addictions counselor, and we just wrapped up a treatment group. I am exhausted!

Do you like to cook? Yes! And bake. Lately though, my husband has found a knack for cooking, and has been really enjoying it. So, I’ve been very much so enjoying his yummies he’s been feeding me.

  36. Aww I want to give Mellan a couple pats on the head! lol My late Golden used to give that same look!
Haul: Nars Kauai eyeshadow duo, love it! And Urban Decay Naked 3 eye pencil duo thought it might go nice with my palette, not sure about Blackheart though it seemed to smudge a bit after wearing it, hate the racoon look, hopefully that was a fluke.
Weekend Plans: Might check out the Florida State Fair if my hubby can get off work.
Do you love to cook?: Yes I’m a good cook and prefer my home cooked meals to a lot of takeout or restaurant food. Most of the women in my family are good cooks so I had to carry on the tradition.I cook on weekdays only though!!

  37. Haul: No haul. Are you shocked? :D I’ve put myself on a low-buy. I was buying too much makeup!

Weekend plans: My friends are coming in from Virginia. We are going to the MoMA and Dylan’s Candy Store.

Do you love to cook?: I have a food blog called The Cat Lady Cook. I haven’t told Zoe the name. She’d get so jealous. :)

  38. Haul : MAC Heavenly Hybrid Lipstick, MAC Prep+prime Lavender primer, Rosebud salve(replenishment)

Haul: Nothing. I’ve actually been pretty good with not buying anything! However, I’ve currently been eyeing Kiehl’s Cross-Terrain UV Face Protector SPF 50. I need something to protect my face from the nasty wind, snow, and sub-zero temperatures that we’ve been having here in Chicago!

Weekend plans: Work, then watch the Olympics! I’m an Olympics freak. (Funny, since I hate watching sports otherwise, except for NHL hockey.)

Do you love to cook?: Absolutely! I can also bake, though I don’t enjoy it anywhere near as much as I love to cook.

Mellan gets cuter by the day. Those eyes can melt you.

  42. Haul: MAC Rihanna Viva Glam, MAC Dreaming Dahlia, MAC 239 eye make up brush (Thanks for the tip Christine!); Lancome Gift with Purchase: Purchase was 6.8 fl oz. Weekend Plans: What I’ve been doing since the first Polar Vortex appeared, hibernating.

Haul: Been going a little crazy lately, just got MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack and the 209 brush and Coastal Scents Palettes Wnterberry, Fall Festival, and Think Pink (received today!) I have on order a set of Sigma brushes (just an eyeshadow set) and some NYX blushes. I also just ordered last night the Coastal Scents Sweetheart deal #2 which is the original 88 palette, a set of 12 brushes, a blush and an eyeliner for $22.95 (seemed like a good deal!) Of course since I despise paying for shipping I had to add on a Revealed Palette and the 6 Contour Blush Palette. They get me with that minimum for free shipping every time!!

Weekend plans: Nothing fun, I have to work the whole weekend.

Do you love to cook? Not in the least! I can microwave, but if it takes more than 6 minutes I have no patience for even that!!

Btw I love the pictures of Mellan! My 90lb Greyhound is also a big lap dog!

  44. Michelle Reece

Haul: None recently, though I’m planning a skincare and lipstick one. I’m super meticulous about it. ;)

Weekend plans: I want to find a few (hopefully free) textbooks about makeup and chemical peels. I’d like to dabble in making my own makeup just for fun, and I’m getting obsessed with chemical peels. :D

Do you love to cook: Yes, if it has to do with chicken, bacon, or chocolate (not together, lol). I enjoy making bacon and cheese hotdogs in particular. Note: sorry if I blew anyone’s diet just now. xD

    • What skincare and lipsticks are you considering?

      • Michelle Reece

For skincare, I’m thinking about a 0.5% to 1% retinol product (Green Cream or SkinMedica) for the evening, a 10% glycolic acid lotion (likely Alpha Hydrox) for my back and legs, and and a 2% salicylic acid gel (Neutrogena?) for my face in the morning.

For lipsticks, I’m thinking about Bobbi Brown, L’Oreal, and Avon. You probably have a 4 mile-long list of what to swatch next, but if it isn’t too problematic, I’d like to see more Avon swatches sometime. ;)

  45. Haul: Clinique Universal Face Primer
Weekend plans: Cleaning and recover from a cold :(
Do you love to cook? Not really – but I do enjoy baking!

It´s the first time I see Mellan’s bed has his title on it :D!! So cute…..and that look on his face, like he’s thinking “hey, mom, it´s petting time, no photos now….!”

    • Feel better, Leticia!!

His first bed I had embroidered, and since we moved to a larger place, he has a huge, full-sized bed in my office (what you’ve probably seen), and so the smaller one is downstairs in the living room!

  46. Denise

Love your pic. I have two dogs and there’s usually a tussle as to who gets my lap. Our cavvy Louie usually wins!

Haul: Just ordered a Guerlain Le rouge in Gracy.
Plans for weekend: Going into town for an anniversary bash at a nice hotel. Our friends (who’s anniversary it is) are paying for all their guests to stay overnight and for brunch tomorrow at a great restaurant. Bless ‘em.
Cooking? Depends on my mood and energy levels. Am currently in rutsville which borders on Boring.

Haul: Oh dear, way too much to count… it’s really a problem! Naked3, some Chanel creme blush, NARS foundation, a TooFaced palette (Chocolate bar – press sample that still counts!!), a Benefit pocket pal and a few other things… Oh, and I ordered a Dior Awakening Blush and the Addict lip reviver from Sephora that I’m waiting on! I told you it was a problem.

Weekend plans: Sleep! And work, which is pretty much the same always.

Do you love to cook? : Yep – I follow a ketogenic diet so I HAVE to cook, and I happen to love it, too :)

  49. Haul: Anastasia HyperColor brow and hair powders in red and lilac.

Weekend Plans: Hopefully some down time for once.

Do you love to cook? Hell yes! I invite people over all the time just to have an excuse to do it.

Haul: Not sure if my Ulta order counts since it was technically last week but… I ordered the Lorac Pro palette and UD Cat fight lipstick. I also made an order from the balm during the 50% off sale; I bought Frat Boy blush, Cabana Boy blush, and Cindy Lou-manizer.

Weekend plans: Studying, writing, and squeezing in a movie or two.

Do you love to cook?: I used to hate it but now that I’ve learned a bit more and experimented, it’s become a lot more fun. I also love knowing I can make anything from scratch and it will always taste a thousand times better than buying some pre-made.

Haul: Just two Wet’n’ Wild Fergie lipsticks from the spring collection – Old School Glam, V.I.Pink. I cut my hair super short and got it dyed today, so that’s where most of my expenses were concentrated. :)
Weekend plans: Working night shift for the most part, but a friend’s baby shower is Saturday!
Do you love to cook?: Don’t hate it but don’t love it, either. I like that it saves me money from buying lunch at work, though. :P

    • What color did you dye your hair?

Darkest brown, nearly black – close to your hair color, actually! Just a little ash-toned to work with my natural shading. . As a wintery NW10 and red lipstick fanatic, I like the Snow White look. :) (I’d go true blue-black if it wasn’t for my brown eyes…I’m worried it would wash out my features without a lighter eye to contrast. :|)

        • If you’re already dying your hair, there is a part of me that says why not try black ;) You can always go back.

I used to dye my hair a deeper, cooler brown (almost violet-tinged), but I haven’t since early college or late high school. Now that it’s all natural, I refuse to dye, lol!

Haul: Nothing! Trying to use up some things that I already have and save my money.

Plans: Watching the Olympics and doing homework! This is the last semester of my Masters program.

Cooking: I love to bake. I can cook but it’s not something I love doing. Knives are not my friends yet, I need more practice!

Haul: NYX autoeyebrow pencils (for my mom!), NYX purple correctors, NYX wonder pencil, Coconut oil, and Tweezerman Slant Tweezers. Gosh–those tweezers are totally worth it–esp since I tweeze nearly everyday! Thought tweezerman was all hype until I got the award winning version.

Weekend plans: Purging my books this weekend bc they’re dust traps (highly allergic unfortunately). Going to replace the majority with e-books and just keep the one’s that are more helpful as hard copies like text books, cook books, instruction manuals, picture books. Hmm…I wonder what’s the best way to store these to keep them dust-free til I need them?

Do you love to cook?: I love food in general and cooking is another way to appreciate it. I thought I didn’t at first but I realized I disliked the pressure to impress others with it (total beginner here). I am lucky though bc my dad is a chef so I have a go-to instructor.
