Welcome to Free For Haul Friday!

  • Haul:  I’m trying to be REALLY good and not buy anything additional to review until I’m through my backlog unless absolutely necessary!
  • Weekend plans:  Going through all the photos/swatches I’ve done and getting them ready to include in reviews.
  • Favorite childhood movie?:   Cinderella

Share your pet photos to the Temptalia Pets flickr group! :)

This week’s Mellan photo…

Trying to teach Mellan the names of his toys… until he starts throwing toys at me.

Favorite Childhood movie: It’s a tie between Beauty & the Beast and Return to Oz.

    Have a great weekend, Christine!

  4. Jennifer

    Hooray FFHF!

Konad nail stamping kit including image plates M57 & M19
    Bundle monster nail image plates
Nothing else for now since I’ll be attacking that Zoya collection with full force when it is released! :)

Weekend plans: Work, as always. Going to the SF symphony & maybe going to see hunger games.

Favorite childhood movie: That’s a toughie. Anything Disney, haha. Early childhood, the Little Mermaid. Late childhood, probably Hercules! :)

  5. I went on a mini blush buying spree – MAC Blushbaby, MUFE 75, and Illamasqua Tweak!

No specific plans for the weekend. Studying I guess.

Favorite childhood movie is a tough one – I was more of a book person. I’m drawing a blank!

  6. Melody

D’awww Mellan. Such a cute, funny doggy. I haven’t hauled anything yet, but I’m thinking of looking around for the China Glaze prismatics polishes or the wet n wild dupes.

  7. barbara

haul; loreal stuff like telescopic lens mascara, two infalliable eyeshadows, their pencil eyeliner that doesn’t smudge! (excellent btw) one of the maybelline color tattoos, some e.l.f. stuff, and 6 sigma brushes

Weekend plans: Copy the written lessons I missed at Sociology, do my hw, start a project at English

    Favorite childhood movie: Titanic <3

  9. Hahaha I had to laugh! Mellan is so smart, but it mustn’t have been fun when he started throwing stuff at you! The Belgian shepherd I used to live with can tell the difference between “bone” and “toy,” but there’s no guarantee which toy she’d come back with!

Haul: Bioderma Sensibio, Caudalie grape water, Caudalie beauty elixir, a L’Occitane kit that has 5 travel-size products from their almond line, Darphin chamomile oil. What’s worse than setting Sunny loose in Antwerp? Setting Sunny loose in Antwerp with money and a skincare blogger! That was a TOTAL blast :p

Weekend plans: We have friends over for dinner tomorrow, and on Sunday it’s probably blogging and more blogging!

Favorite childhood movie: Pocahontas. That’s the movie that taught me nothing lasts forever (what a pessimistic and depressed child I was lol)!

  10. Hahaha! My Rocky “kills” his bear the same way Mellan does his bunny! I was listening to this clip and when you told Mellan to go get his rope, my dog perked up, ran out of the room, and came back with his own rope! I haven’t stopped laughing! Gotta love these pooches!

  11. LJ

Haul: The UK finally got Maybelline Tattoo cream eyeshadows! So I bought three of those, as well as two Paul & and Joe nail polishes which I adore.

    Plans: Revision and dissertation :(

Favourite childhood movie: Basil the Great Mouse Detective! If you’ve never heard of it or seen it, I massively encourage you to check it out – I’m not ashamed whatsoever that it’s still one of my very favourite films aged 21 ^_^

  12. Does Mr. Mellan have his own room? So many toys!! It would be a bloodbath of stuffed animals at my house with my dog! He’s only allowed one stuffed animal every couple months 😛

Haul: some theBalm goodies at TJ Maxx.

Weekend plans: I think a double date tonight, packing and errands tomorrow, then church on Sunday :)

Favorite childhood movie? Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan. It’s still my all-time favorite movie!

    • LOL, he wishes. Well, he’d probably say his room IS my office and I’m just there because he lets me, but he pretty much gets half the space. Mellan takes forever to get through a stuffed toy – probably 6-8 months or longer!

  13. Laura R

Favorite childhood movie: The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan (I thought mermaids were real and I wanted to go live with them) 😀

Mellan picks up instructions better than Zoe. If I ask her to get her toy, all she does is look at me then runs away! LOL.

Your utterance at the end of the video is plain hilarious!

Weekend plans: Rushing around picking up a few things I need + food shopping

Favorite childhood movie?: Probably Bambi, but it made me cry everytime. I’d probably still cry if I watched it now!

    • LOL! He LOVES to tug with the rope, so he’ll bring it to you and throw it in your face – just the end where you’re supposed to hold it – and he’ll keep doing it until you give in.
