  2. Hmm, recently:
    1. MAC’s technakohl liner in Full of Fuschia and liquid liner in Aqualine.
    2. Sephora Haul – Urban Decay’s Nail Apocalypse kit & 24/7 liners in Flipside & Ransom
    3. Spell Cosmetics – porcelin foundation, goddess glow blush, haley’s bite lip gloss, mintallic and covet eye shadow
    4. Etsy hair fascinator
    5. Fyrinnae Otherworld eye shadow, velvet-gel silica primer, samples of bite me eye shadow, illlicit passion eye shadow and dazzling darkness ink eyeliner, and diabolic mascquerade lip lustre

    • How do you like Urban Decay’s nail polish? I haven’t tried it yet.

What are your favorite Etsy sellers?!

      • I’m DESPERATELY waiting for my Sephora order to get here (I paid for the 3 day shipping), so I’ll be able to tell you once I get it. However, the reviews I’ve seen on other sites (Vampy Varnish, Scrangie, etc) have shown that the colors are beautiful.

I love bigdoggybling, colormutts, helixelemental, aurella27, kvodesign, lovechildboudoir, surferjen, aromaleighminerals, mtcoffinzunderground, and hoydenscollars.

        • I look forward to hearing your thoughts on them :)

Thank you for the Etsy shop recommendations!

          • You’re quite welcome! I was able to create an awesome pair of earrings with helixelemental, as they do nice custom orders. I did a custom collar with hoydenscollars and bigdoggybling. I’m working on another collar with hoydenscollars, too. These are all in the martingale style for my standard poodle, as I prefer martingales for her :)

I just love etsy and the people that make such pretty things and do custom items.

For makeup I bought Full of Fuchsia Techakohl liner and I have worn it as a lip liner twice to make my lipsticks more matte. I will probably try it as an eye liner one of these days when I have time to experiment. I bought some colour contact lens (something I actually need in order to see clearly! So it is not all cosmetic!). I recently finished reading Slumdog Millionaire by Vikas Swarup and Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella. Now I am reading In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan.

Hey Christine, if you enjoyed Marley and Me, I think you would enjoy The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. The book is written in the POV of a Golden Lab and his life with is owner and family. Have you read that one before?

Okay, I was bad recently, haha.

The Stila Precious Pearl palette was on sale for $20 at Sephora, so I decided it was time to make my first online purchase there. Man is it GORGEOUS. But while I was ordering, I figured I’d also get their sampler of moisturizers, since I’ve been trying to find the right one for me w/o spending too much money (it includes 1/3 to 1/2 oz. samples of moisturizers from Korres, Fresh, Philosophy, Bliss, Caudalie, and Murad).

Then I figured I might as well try to make the order reach $50 for the free shipping! But I tried very hard not to go over, so I picked up a Smashbox shadow duo in “Glow/Getter” (a warm shimmery brown and a peachy-champagne) that was only $5, and a set of 3 mini Stila lip glazes for $8.

I’m really not sure I love the lip glazes, or at least, the click-pen mechanism for them…the smell is awfully nice though :) But they are a bit thick for the pen/brush thing. Overall, though, a very fun and not too extravangtly priced haul…:)

    • Very nice haul, Daphne! I always try to get free shipping — I’m so loathe to pay shipping, I can’t even tell you!

Which moisturizer will you be trying first?

Stila’s Precious Pearl palette is definitely one of my favorites from this year :) Good pick!

    mac mineralisze skinfinish in -refined
    studio moisture tint spf 15

i can not wait to get my forever 21 package XD

I ordered a bunch of things on Ebay. I got MAC Select foundation, MAC Warmed MSF and MAC Totally Fab Dazzleglass creme from one seller. From another seller, I got the Stila Barbie palette and Kitten and Wheat eyeshadow singles. From a 3rd seller, I ordered MAC Hot Contrast MES and Bubbles lipstick. Then next week is Style Black and more Dazzleglass! That’s going to be nuts on my wallet.

  7. haha I love ontd, so funny that you did this =p!

  8. Yesterday I got

MAC photo realism quad. It was greens so I had to buy it!
MAC natural msf. Love it-love any msf.
MAC bare slimshine (B2M)- It’s pretty cute, I put elborate lipgloss over it and it was really pretty.

  9. Roberta

I got a clearance Stila eyeshadow from the Sephora in JC Pennys for FOUR dollars that looks exactly like smoke and diamonds.

  10. Rose

From the MAC warehouse sale – the old traincase, HK medium and small bags, Too Dolly palette, Mutiny, Deep Blue Green, Reflects Antique Gold pigments, A Rose is a Rose quad, B-Babe l/s, and holiday mini lipglasses in Totally It & Magnetique.

  11. Annie

I shopped at CCO in South Carolina, as well as ULTA. I got Soft Ochre Paint Pot (which I had never used but is turning out so great as a base!), Perfect Topping MSF (backup and one for my mom), Petticoat MSF, the 187 brush, Little Black Dress and Purple Pumps smudgepots from Stila, the Barbie palette, the Essie Matte about you Top coat.

I’m also starting to read Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins, the sequel to Hunger Games.

  12. I got Chanel Mat Lumiere foundation 2 days ago. I had Pro Lumiere already and like it a lot but its too dewy for my combo/oily skin on long office days, so that one will be saved for special events.
The only drugstore in my area that carries Gosh, Rimmel and Essence is closing so I stopped by and stocked on a few items like Essence brow powder and brow gel (about 2€ each and work wonders!).

My wishlist is as long as my arm but I am going to go on a no buy because I feel like I dont use half of my collection and that makes me sad.

For this week-end I plan on getting my hands on GossipGirl season 2 and marathon-watch it :-)

I havent been too bad this week, although I bought a few things including Pink Opal and Pink Bronze pigments (really loved the Pink Opal swatch in your purple lip post and just had to have Pink Bronze too, lol), a couple of Stila palettes (Kitten and Confection) Nars Orgasm blush (been meaning to get it for ages) on eBay, some more pigments (by GOSH) and Mac Little Madame mineralize eyeshadow (again from eBay). Thats my weekly haul when Im being good. 😉

Off to the theatre with hubby and kids to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang later, and then out for a meal with hubby as it was our 12th anniversary yesterday. :)

I went to the Estee Lauder/MAC warehouse sale last Friday – yes, it was everything I thought it would be and more! I purchased sooo much for myself and others but mainly me :) There was a lot of LE items like brushes, blushes and e/s which was amazing for items I missed.

Prices were awesome (in Canada $$)- $9 per e/s (got 14 in total and I kept 9 like sunset b, alum, ricepaper, warming trend, pink mink, illegal cargo to name a few), $15 for 2 quads (tempting and rose is a rose), $20 to $15 for moisturizers (light and regular moisturizers and strobe cream, fix+ rose water), $3 to $8 mascaras & cleans off oils, $12 blushes (pretty baby hello kitty for my friend) msf and sculpting duos powder, $30 to $20 for brush kits, $20 for 182 LE brush, $20 for 165.

I still find myself saying ‘damn, I should have got this…’ lol

I saw so many people I knew there which surprised me as the sale was invitation only (I got a ticket through some random nice ppl online). The funniest thing was I saw my MUA there and she said ‘well, well, well look who it is!’ hahaha.

I would recommend the sale to anybody who can get their hands on some tickets :)

  15. Stacey

My last hauls were MAC Photo Realism quad and Colour Matters liner, and Orly Enchanted Forest and Mirror Mirror nail polishes. Love all of them!
Also highly jealous of the Lauder warehouse sale attendees! Must be quite dangerous going to one lol.

I got my latest purchases today at the mall while getting my make up done by Chanel.

Mousse Exfoliante Purete – Exfoliating Cleasing Foam: my first Chanel face wash I have ever used.

    Quadra Eye Shadow – Spices

    Glossimer – Spark

and what I have been waiting for since late August! Luminous Satin Lip Lacquer – Santal

I tried out the Eye Gloss but too much creasing the SAs did not recommend it.
