Hair How-to
- Apply TRESemmé Fresh Start No Frizz Créme to damp hair
- Blow dry using a round brush to sweep hair away from face

She looks great as a blonde but I didn’t recognize her. She looks like Jamie Pressley. Not really liking the dress, too plain for a nominee and it’s almost the same color as her skin

I love this girl and think she’s gorgeous but I think they should have made something stand out more- because the dress, her hair and her makeup is all pretty pale. Maybe some darker low lights in her hair, or a dark lip…black dress…one or two of those things would make her look less washed-out.
Now see? I LOVE the way her lips matched her dress! I was looking to see if the lipstick she used was mentioned here.

Strangely enough, blonde is actually her natural hair color! Granted it’s probably not THIS blonde naturally… she looks so natural as a redhead that no one suspected!

Yep, it washes her out completely. Her makeup doesn’t help the situation either. The dress is so plain, and her whole look is too plain. This is a definite miss!

I can imagine it will be a pain after a while to maintain that color when she’s naturally a brunette though. I’ve always wanted to dye my hair but cringe at the thought of all of the commitment that comes with maintaining a good dye job.

Emma’s makeup look and dress is my favorite of the night. Unlike so many other women who wore those horrid shoulder pads, she kept it classy but colorful! I do think she looked better with red hair, but she’s gorgeous as a blonde too!

I just felt she looked aged with the color dress, it washed her out and her over bleached hair was taking her beautiful youth away. I miss her red hair and she could have used more color in her face (nude face, nude dress not working) to not look so washed out.

Not sure whether or not I like the hair! The blonde definitely makes her look classier and older but the dark red looks edgy and suits her quirky personality. Change is always good but I hope she goes back to the dark red eventually!

Lovely. The color of the dress and it’s simplicity are wonderful. Her hair is perfect. However, I would have liked to see just a hint of more eyeliner to bring her eyes just a bit more into focus and her lip color is unfortunate and she looks washed out.

She does look like jamie pressley, but shes flawless. I commend her for keeping it simlpe with the gown and hair, because most women wear these over the top ball gowns, which is fine, but simple is the way to go to stand out at the globes sometimes. She STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the close-up she looks like a southern belle to me for some reason. Maybe it’s because of all the peach? I totally didn’t recognize her! I like her better as a redhead like in Easy A. I like the makeup. It’s like blushing Georgia peaches bride or something. I don’t think she looks washed out really because of the warm, glowy blush that was used. I’m not so sure about liking the dress. Hair is very pretty. I like the swept up quality it has to it. In the wider shot she looks very statuesque and sophisticated. I’m on the fence about the dress. It seems a bit too pale for her and too similar to her skin color. I like the flowy bit in the back but I’m not too sure about the neckline.
i still don’t know whether i like her blond or not – though i definitely thought she was a lot more sultry and sexier when she was a brunette. that said, i saw this image earlier on yahoo and fell in LOVE with the dress. it is the perfect colour, and i adore its simplicity! she looks stunning in it!
