Emily Blunt @ 67th Golden Globe Awards (Photos & Pictures)

67th Annual Golden Globe Awards: Emily Blunt
Her face is totally not matching her body, which is really throwing me off. I liked the tousled hair look, I suppose…
Makeup & Beauty How-to
Jenn Streicher, makeup artist using Dior Beauty, says her inspiration was: “Emily wore a beautiful sleeveless pink frilly dress, so we wanted the makeup to be beautiful, soft and feminine.”
Eyes: Dior 5-Coulour Eyeshadow in Stylish Move #970, DiorShow Brow in Shiny Brown, DiorShow Blackout Mascara
Lips: Dior Creme de Rose, Dior Addict Lip Polish #001, Dior Glossy Liner in Glossy Pink
Cheeks: Dior Dentelle Illuminating Lace Effect Powder
Skin: Dior Hydraction Deep Hydration Radical Serum, Dior Skinflash Primer, Dior AirFlash Spray Foundation #200, Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen #001
Body: Dior Bronze Self-Tanner Natural Glow Body
Hair How-to
Laini Reeves cut her hair to shoulder length just for the Golden Globes and then created a curl that was blunt and chic, but still a little fun.
First, Laini applied the NO FRIZZ, WAVE SHAPING CREAM FOR MEDIUM TO THICK HAIR ($24) to Emily’s wet hair to prevent the hair from frizzing. She then added a bit of the new LIVING PROOF FULL ($24) to add a bit of body to the wave. She started creating the pin curls by taking half inch pieces of hair and wrapping each piece around her fingers and then pinning them to the top of the head. Reeves recommends alternating the twisting monition both clockwise and counter clockwise to add dimension. She then let the hair dry naturally. After the hair was completely dry she used both a medium curling iron, and small barrel curling iron to accentuate the curl. To add a bit of sophistication to the look, she used a flat iron on each curl, straightening the bottom inch of the hair.

Yah, I agree. The pale face and tanned body sort of ruins the look, and I’m not just saying that because she’s engaged to John Krasinski!! LOL. :p
I think she looks amazing from the full length picture…Close up it isn’t bad but it is nothing special.
I love her dress!!! Anyone know who designed it?
If only her face matched her body (bad foundation mistake)! Oh well, she’s still such a pretty lady! Glad she’s not a waif.
its not a bad foundation its just that her body is bronzed and not her face if the makeup artist as put the same color as her body it would be too fake and not natural !!!! how could you juge a makeup job you could never do the same so juge on something you can do!
I like the simplicity of this. Her accessories are working.
Wow, is her makeup artist trying to sabotage her or what? Yikes, that foundation! So horrendously matched. The dress is beautiful though.
…and the award for the worst fake tan job goes to ….!!!!
the pale face and the tan body … oh my god, talk about a major beauty faux pas !! She just looks really bad and that makes it impossible to concentrate on the positive points, sorry. I don’t even like the dress … it’s a pity, she’s usually a quite nice looking girl most of the time … but right now … she just doesn’t have any charm … it’s just my opinion
Her dress, hair, and accessories are beautiful but I think her makeup looks a little ‘tween-ish
so many people have faces that don’t match! wow, can’t believe they didn’t see that before heading down the red carpet…
Oh no… I love Emily Blunt! But I agree this is a horrible look on her. Not only is her face a totally different color than her body it’s also weirdly mauve/pinkish to match her dress. =/
I guess that’s what happens when you tan and forget to get new foundation.
her face IS matching her dress though…roflmao
her body looks kinda muscular in that ethereal dres… i also think she would look much lovelier with longer hair…
Her foundation is too pale for her skin, her makeup artist should have known better
cute dress. her foundation is probably her natural skin color if she hadn’t been out on the beach the day before or something…
not even matched her neck!
I think it might b the matching double barcelets that kind of highlight her muscles, which doesn’t go that well with this dress. I have always envied her figure, and i think if she lost at least one of the bracelets, i wouldn’t feel them overpowering the look- though i guess that’s what they wanted, since the makeup and dress is more etheral? (i though she was dating Michael Buble or who?
)
I can’t believe someone could make such a HUGE mistake! It looks so funny. Lol.
Thanks for a good close-up! It was hard to see how pretty her MU was on red carpet pre-show & during awards. The lip color is very pretty (prior to being kissed off everywhere)! wish they kept her shoulders/arms/neck skin more natural, less self tanner. Love the raw look of the dress
In the second pic, her makeup looks better from far away even though the expression on her face is a little snide/evil.
Her lip colour is absolutely gorgeous — off to the Dior counter! And a lot of people have a much paler face than body — we usually wear more SPF on our faces than body. But I suppose her make up artist could have given her more color on her face. She is really gorgeous . . .
Emily Blunt is so absolutely gorgeous. <3
Her face is totally not matching her body, but her face matching her dress………..lol
I think it’s another case of the face and body not matching. I’m surprised with such high profile celebrities that it happens so often. I love the dress and she is stunning in it.
I think that is my favorite dress…
I like this dress, but not with her skin tone.
Wow. Pity about the bad fake tan. I do it better myself!
