If I wear brown eyeshadow that is too close to my eye color, from far away it looks like I have two giant holes in my face XDD. Also, I find that it makes me look tired. I also find lighter browns (taupes) hard to pull off but that may because they tend to be too warm for my skintone. I have brown eyes and I stay away from brown eyeshadows that are too close to my eye color. I do tend to use neutral more though - especially cooler leaning neutrals because they really emphasize the warm gold and green tones. Reddish and purple tones look good too. I do tend to use neutral more though – especially cooler leaning neutrals because they really emphasize the warm gold and green tones. Reddish and purple tones look good too.
