I used to wear it every single day, winged and everything. I didn’t wear any other makeup back then though. Now that I do, I don’t really use it anymore. I need to pick this up again! (But yk, no one wants to get Liquidlast on their face after applying foundation and blush, right?)

I find that liquids can look too harsh because there’s no way to blend out the line.
I still use it sometimes though.

I can absolutely not get the hang of it! The lines I make are never smooth and never look pretty. I much prefer gel/cream liners.

I do not like liquid liner. I just use fluidline or a pencil. I think liquid liner is to much for the most looks.

  5. I do, but it has to be a certain kind. I will only use liquid liners with a felt tip, otherwise I can’t get it to apply properly.

I hate liquid liner for 3 reasons:

    1) I couldn’t draw a straight line if it meant my life.
    2) I am over 40 and my lids are beginning to get that crepe paper appearance, so the liner doesn’t go on smoothly.
    3) It is impossible to get an outer “flick” on a crepey eye.
    4) I don’t like the severity of the look.

I have to use liners that are more forgiving, like UD 24/7 or eyeshadow used as a liner (what I use most of the time).

I like it but I always have to cover up the harsh edges it makes. But it feels cool (temperature wise) on my eyes!

  8. I used liquid because I loved the bold effect but I now I religiously use cream/gel liners. I have watery eyes and the corners run easily with liquid.

I like the look a lot – I’m just not very good at it. Need to practice, practice, practice!

I really love Givenchy Parad’eyes eyeliner: extra black and glossy effect! The best for me!

I don’t dislike liquid liners. If the formulas right they can look great, but as a personal rule I go toward cake liners. Or anything similar like a shadow/powder to liquid liner. My favorite right now is BareMinerals shadow liner applied with any sort of pointed brush. It’s quite classic.

I generally prefer a more matte finish to my makeup anyway so a cake-type formula for liner just makes me smile :)

  12. It’s okay. I used to use it a lot, but not so much anymore. Now, if I want a similar look, I apply eye shadow wet as liner instead. And I don’t consider that ‘liquid liner’.

I love my liquid liner.I like the effect it gives me, plus it’s quicker than gel liners imo. It’s quick, looks beautiful and has yet to fail me.

Love love love the way it looks…but hate the fact that I can’t do it at all :( I’m a beginner at trying it though really, so hopefully I’ll nail it someday!

Liquid (or gel, or eyeshadow) eyeliners are MUCH better, for me!
I usually like a little bit of glamor instead of a totally natural look, and you can get all kinds of cool effects with a liquid eyeliner: wider eyes, retro/cat-eye looks, looks from the 1920s -1990s, etc, etc! I had to get the hang of using a liquid, but since I did, it’s easy & fast. I reach for liquid eyeliners first, (though sometimes I’ll still try a pencil when I want to look muted, or natural.)

Second, pencils can be a pain, at least for me. Most pencils tug on my eyelid (some tug HARD), & I’d rather keep that delicate area as smooth as possible, for as long as possible, thank you very much. (Tugging adds up over the years; I’ve seen it in relatives & older friends I’ve known a long time.)

Another thing: if a pencil DOES glide perfectly onto my lids, the line smudges, smears or somehow just fades away within a few hours! I use fairly slow-drying liquid liners, so I can blend, soften, etc. With a little (learned) control, liquids do just about anything I want they stay perfect, never smudge – and look fantastic. (The felt-tip ones are REALLY easy, too!)

It’s the only kind of liner I wear! I think that it really makes your eyes stand out in a way that other kinds of liners can’t.

  17. amy

It is very easy to use and so pigmented!

  18. I do but I usually hate the brush, so I take the product off the tip with my own eyeliner brush.

I find it okay. Most of the times Im using pencil.

  20. Samantha

Other: never really tried it! I always stick to gel or pencil!

  21. I don’t generally prefer liquid liner, but if I had to use them, I would choose Loreal Carbon Black, Lancome Artliner or the MAC Penultimate.

  22. Chester

I love liquid liner. It gives a dramatic, finished look no khol liner could ever achieve. MAC Liquidlast in Point Black works best for me.
