Do you find it hard to keep up with all of the new beauty releases?

I always check new shades and collections
But I only buy what I actually really like
and think it will work with me

In the past I had no clue when different companies were coming out with different collections. But now I check your blog almost daily and am up to date with future collections.

I don’t find it hard to keep track of them, considering that I’m not interested in a lot of what launches. This site helps too
But my wallet is definitely finding finding all the launches hard to handle lol.
Not really for me because I only really research and keep up with one brand – Chanel
What is hard though is getting a hold of items that will never be released in US from them 
That’s funny, I live in the Netherlands and have trouble getting a hold of Chanel stuff that is only released in the US.

I’m relatively new to the whole makeup world and all the different collections, release dates, etc. etc. just boggle my mind. But, I get so excited when I see them that I just can’t help but love it all!!
I can keep up. My bank account unfortently cannot.

I think I could handle it… if MAC would stop releasing these GIGANTOR collections! I didn’t even bother going to look at the FF collection because it was just so overwhelming.
As long as I ignore MAC, though, it’s not hard keeping up with the new collections
But I don’t *want* to ignore MAC completely!
With the makeup ones yes. There are too many for me but then again it’s not makeup that I’m addicted to. I am however grateful for Temptalia and all the other bloggers that swatch everything so someone like me can see it before I buy it.
I find it easy to keep up with the seasonal collections (fall/winter, holiday, spring/summer) with the high end brands. But MAC has too many collections, and I’m starting to ignore them. I can appreciate that they make fashionable makeup more affordable than the luxury brands. But in the long run, it’s overwhelming to see so much new stuff released. Nothing seems special or unique.
I agree 100%! I was into MAC for a month and lost total interest. Before, I was never into the brand. What got me was – so many collections one after another and nothing that seemed unique. After awhile it starts to look all the same. It is nice to keep your customers waiting, especially for something totally different/new…not just come out with collections that are huge and don’t really stand out.
I don’t even try! I just check out blogs by people (like you! : ) who DO keep up with it, and then I scan through to see if I see anything I can’t live without. Thank you for providing this valuable service to the lazy makeup lovers of the world.
I dont know if its just me but alot of what mac releases as part of there new collections, i just find all look the same with me, now with the fabulous felines collection, i was in mac today and i didnt see anything that was unique and i have never seen before. I think the reason why some people rush to get the collections its cos they are worried they wont get it again due to the fact its limited edition. I did the same With viva glam gaga, now im regretting buying it as its soo similar to st germain
Surprisingly no, because I like researching releases and products extensively and I’m never bored lol. MAC on the other hand…really needs to stop releasing massive collections – everything is starting to look the same. Ever since I’ve been buying Chanel I haven’t even stepped near MAC =_=.
As long as there are beauty blogs for information, I can keep up with it.
The only releases that I am interested in is MAC. Actually all the beauty news I need to know I get from Temptalia.
I think there are many collections coming out, but not that many interest me ! So, keep ‘em rolling, I don’t mind !
I usually gravitate among few trusted brands that’s why it’s easier for me to keep track of new releases, I’m really a brand snob. I occasionally try other products from other brands long after I’ve read reviews and done swatches from the counter.
What? No! I follow Temptalia and check it more often than my own e-mail account! I know everything about the new releases
I’m not really interested in hearing about all the new beauty releases so much as reviews to find out which products are good/effective/worthwhile and checking swatches to see if they suit me. I don’t really follow brands or wait around for new collections and shades, I suppose because I’m fairly predictable and don’t buy a lot of make up aside from certain essentials. Since I love reading beauty blogs I tend to find out about them, though.
well i usually stay with mac and you know they always have collections and i tend to just buy the collections with cool packaging so its not that hard to decide what to get from each collection if its cool packaging i go for that collection and then pick the colors and products i want instead of getting something from each collection and then i get stuff from the permanent collection

Maybe because I don’t just follow all trends and releases.
Every once in a while I’ll check out new colors and products but most of the time I stick to timeless classics. I read about releases but it’s not like I rush to the store to get them just to have them…
I love MAC and that should explain everything…..
I’m hypercritic! I constantly check carefully new collections and so on, but I buy only if I really like something (and I don’t find any dupe!).
I try to be selective and only buy what I really really want or need, at Felines collection I only bought a lipstick and a mineral blush, at To the Beach collection only a lipstick, the other MAC releases I´ve not been interested, but Venomous villains will be mine!!!!!
It would be too much if there weren’t great blogs like yours. My wallet just finds it hard to keep up, lol.

‘ve given up on collections- I think its better to stick with the permanent line at least you know wher you stand with availabilty for re-purchase down the line. I haven’t been convinced by mac with their recent outings.
