nice, diane. would have loved more interesting hair though with this gown. nothing extravagant just elegant and more creatively styled to compliment the dress. i don't think the color is the problem at all. works well with her porcelain skin tone and simple but effective makeup. beautiful soft eyes and brows.

her look is great!!! I do like the color of the dress, different, does look better on tan skin, but it's a great look... the makeup so pretty!!!

I think the makeup works so well with the color of her dress it makes the whole thing look amazing. I can understand why you wouldn't like it though... it is just mustard yellow. I think she looks lovely and I would totally take that dress. (although different color, that yellow would look horrible on me)

It reminds me of Sandra Bullocks dress from the golden globe but in a different color =/

I think the lip color is all wrong...to red for the gold dress.

I love this color-for some reason I am obsessed with it for this spring and have been picking it up in separates. Not for everyone though-although it looks great on her!

I actually think the color compliments her really well. She looks soooo lovely in it. I just wish it had a bit of sheen so it'd be gold instead of mustard.

i love the color, but i think it would have been better suited for someone with darker hair for a bit of contrast

I personally wouldn't wear the colour, but I like it!! It makes me think Old Hollywood, like the 40's :) Rock it Diane!!!

I think she took a risk with this and it payed off. The one thing I would change is the lipstick color -- the orange-red competes wit the ruby of her earrings. A bluer toned lipstick would have put this over the top.

I love the style and the color. It is unique. No one on the carpet looks like her. She looks like a real movie star tonight.

The color's pretty tough to pull off...when you look at the picture it looks like sooo much of that mustardy color...But the shape and style is great, she looks super elegant, her makeup is beautiful - just simple and classy - and I feel like her eyes really pop

The dress is fabulous! The mustard yellow dress is.. different. It's pretty interesting because it's a unique color, not often seen on the red carpet. It's growing on me. I love the cut and shape of the dress - it hugs her perfectly! I like that she kept her eye makeup simple and opted for a bright bold red lip.

I would to have loved to see this dress more jewel toned.

I would KILL for that dress...in a different color. Cobalt blue, maybe? Hair is alright,anything fancier might have taken away from the dress. Makeup is lovely. Am I the only one who doesn't know who she is?

The color of the dress works, although I wouldn't say it's something I'd pick. However, she looks excellent in the dress because the dress is well fitted and an excellent silhouette for her. I like that they did a bold lip with that color. Anything else would look weird.

I love the design of the dress and the colour seems lovely to me; although blonde hair + yellow dress? Hmm..not the greatest combo but it's okay.. Love the pop of cherry red lipstick- that goes well with her dress.

The makeup is classic.. I like how in the full dress shot her eyes stand out, they're not overwhelmed by the makeup. The dress - i'm gonna call it right now - is probably my favorite of the night. Stunning silhouette, chic color.. i'm really wowed.

I really love that someone did a bold lip, the neutral subtle eye compliments it nicely, I give the makeup a thumbs up. The hair is a little dull. I HATE the earrings. The dress, could have been fab...but it was a miss. That colour does NOTHING for her. The cut is lovely but it was a swing and a miss with the mustard. This colour would have looked MUCH better on someone with a dark skintone, but she just can't pull it off.

I kinda like it actually. It is a very um... different color from what we are used to seeing in these award shows. And I think its a color that definitely not everyone can pull off, but in this case she did! Everything goes well with each other in this look, in my opinion.
