Colorful Look with MAC Peacocky

Colorful Look with MAC Peacocky
Here is a more colorful look with the new Mega Metal Eyeshadows!
You will need the following…
- Eyes: NARS Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base (neutral eyeshadow base), MAC Dalliance Eyeshadow (pewter gold), MAC Odalisque Eyeshadow (blue-teal), MAC Noir Plum Eyeshadow (purple), Burberry Trench Eyeshadow, Make Up For Ever #12L Aqua Eyes (teal-blue) Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara (black)
- Face: Make Up For Ever HD Foundation (140), Burberry Pressed Powder (03)
- Cheeks: MAC Sur Blush (neutral pink-brown), MAC Gana Blush (champagne beige)
- Lips: MAC So Vain Kissable Lipcolour (pinked coral)
- Brushes: 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 222 (fluffy crease brush), 263 (angled eyeliner brush), 116 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Dalliance = Urban Decay Maui Wowie; Odalisque = Shimmermoss + Deep Truth; Noir Plum = Grape pigment; Sur = Prism; Gana = Soft & Gentle; So Vain = Vegas Volt (sheered)
For eyes, start by applying Smudgeproof as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Using the 239, apply Dalliance eyeshadow all over the lid. Lightly blend Odalisque eyeshadow into the crease and blend into the outer corner with the 222. Next, apply Noir Plum eyeshadow into the lower crease with the 239 (horizontally), lightly blending with Odalisque. Blend Trench eyeshadow with the crease shade and highlight the brow bone. Bring everything together by applying #12L eyeliner on the lower lash line and pat Noir Plum eyeshadow on lower lower lash line with a dampened 219 to brighten. Finish by sweeping lashes with Inimitable Intense mascara.
For cheeks, apply Sur blush on the apples of the cheeks and sweep upwards towards the temple with the 116, then highlight with Gana blush using the 165.
For lips, apply So Vain lipcolour for a complementing lip.

Aah, I think you’ve convinced me I need Dalliance!
So pretty!
And that colour shirt makes your skin glow
Dalliance is love!
That’s beautiful, I love the colors.
Thanks a lot, Joyce!
Ahhhh… this looks so pretty. I NEED everything you used on your eyes. You should get paid tons of money for what you do because you sell products like no one else! Well, I know you don’t SELL them, but you sure make me want to buy them!
Aww
This is a great wearable look with a pop of great vivid color! I never wear bright colors and I would def try this out!
Thanks, Kelly!
This is gorgeous! How do you get your colors so vibrant? I only use MAC products (minus the primer, I use UDPP) and after finishing they’re never this vibrant. Do you foil? Or just use it dry? D:
Thank you, Lily! Dry!
This look is bright and colorful! You look great,it reminds me of a peacock!
I shall try this look!
Thanks a lot, Mulki!
“So Vain” looks absolutely gorgeous on you!!! I’ve always wanted to find the perfect coral lipcolour since my MAC 2N streaks like crazy on me! I might pick this one up on my trip to Melbourne, I just hope it doesn’t streak as much as 2N did on my pigmented lips
I love this look! Bolder colors always look great on you…and on me too so I shall steal yet another one of your looks!!! lol
Thanks so much, Lady Di!
Gorgeous! I love how Noir Plum looks when blended with Odalisque. It creates a beautiful color purple.
Thank you, Jenn!
wow that’s such a cute look!
Thanks, Yiota!
I like this look. It reminds me of the birthday cake look you did!
Thanks a lot, Maeve!
Very pretty!
Thanks, Jessi!
I love, love, love the eyes!
Glad you liked ‘em, Laura!
This is such a fun, beautiful look! Odalisque and Noir Plum are definitely colors I’d wear. Dalliance makes fr a great lid shade with the more vibrant Odalisque and Noir Plum.
Thanks, Phyrra!
that is sucha beautiful combo! will there be a youtube tutorial on this?
so sad! i tried it just now and managed to get the colors and placement to match but I dont have a lot of lid space so it didnt quite work out for me
but its still beautiful nonetheless!
No tut, sorry! :/
I can’t even begin to say how much I love this look. Nice job Christine! Your makeup skills are fantastic.
Thank ya!
LOVE it!
Thanks, Maya!
great look Christine! thanks for using Peacocky in a look, now that i see a look using Peacocky, the eyeshadows I wanted (used in your look) seem rather easily dupable…maybe I’ll save my $ and skip the eyeshadows in this collection…
Thanks a lot, Ellie!
Christine, I love love love this look. You look gorgeous!!!
Thanks, Cynthia!
This look is gorgeous on you.. I think im going to purchase all the colors used to produce look..
Aw, thanks Angelicaflora!
I think this might be one of my favourite looks you’ve done lately! I always like them, but the new sort of shape/blending you’ve used for the last few have been really nice. Pushes me outside my current scheme a bit and gets me to think of new ways/combinations. Thanks!
Oh wow! Thank you
Gorgeous! One of the best so far.
Thanks, Marina!
Gorgeous! Just lightens up the rest of you.
P.S. What kind of camera do you use? The macro on it is just…wow.
Nikon D90!
LOVE this look! I didn’t think much of it until I saw the entire face, and then wow! The lip colour is beautiful on you, I wish it was that colour on me!!
Thank you so much, Laurz!
Love the colors …so bright and colorful
I dont think I can pull this off tho, but beautiful.
Thank ya!
Aww, fishsticks, now I have to add Dalliance and Noir Plum to my wishlist. D8
(I don’t blame you though, the collection really is THAT amazing)
Haha!
What a beautiful look. I am going to copy this for sure!
The teal really does add some oomph to this look.
Lovely. As always!
Yay! I hope you like it, Hilana!
I love love love this! Can’t wait to try it for a night out. As always, you did such a good job with the color combo.

i love this look, it’s flattering and beautiful
Thanks, Jacquelyn!
Have you changed anything with your brows lately? They look amazing! Not that they didn’t look fab before but for some reason the last few looks you’ve posted your eyebrows have just really looked beautiful.
Nope, LOL!
This look is stunning on you! Wish I had the talent to do this and have it turn out so well
Thank you, Emma!
I love that pop of teal liner on the center of your lower lid. It really adds dimension. Very nice. I wound up purchasing Dalliance and Odalisque because of you! I would have already purchased Noir Plum — too gorgeous to pass up even though I own 10,000 purple shadows! Can’t wait to get my haul:
Dalliance
Noir Plum
Odalisque
Sex-pectations
Unflappable
Centre Stage
So grateful for the service you provide, Christine!
Aww, yay! So glad you hauled!
I love this!!!! christine!! did you do a youtube vid for this ??
I didn’t!
Aw, so pretty! I’m a bit “afraid” of this color combination since I have very bright blue eyes. Do you think this would be suitable for me?
Yes!
Awwwwwww relly beautiful colors …..Magical wow…!!
Honey, you have MAD blending skills. I love this look.
New Years blessings.
I tried this using the dupes you recommended — maui wowee, grape pigment, and some color from the star flash collection but nothing appeared quite as vibrant. Did you wet your brush?
I only used Dalliance wet on the lower lash line!
It’s perfect!
very pretty
)
Hi Christine! Not sure if I’ve commented before lol but I love this look.
I tried this look today, but with dupes.
I used Maui Wowie, Push the Edge pigment and Haight from UD. I must say, it looks pretty. ^_^
YAY!
gorgeous colors!
Thank you, Aja Marie!
Gorgeous look! You definitely captured the spirit of the peacocky collection! I was wondering if the Make Up For Ever teal eyeliner is comparable to MAC’s Undercurrent pearlglide eyeliner. If there’s not too much of a difference I will probably go with that because it’s cheaper. ^_^
Thank you! Undercurrent is much, much tealer – lighter and brighter, plus the gold shimmer.
Very nice ! Love these kind of colors, like in a fairytale… Thanks for your website ! (But how can you try all these products ? You’re so a lucky girl !!!)
From south of France.
Tiffany
This is gorgeous!!!!!!
Thanks, Katie!
love your eye makeup, that lipgloss is so pretty.
Thanks, Fabiola!
I tried this look but the colors kind of blended together, lol. How did you make yours look so clean? (I do fine until I put on Noir Plum) ^_^
Pat the color on first
Thanks! You rock!
Does anyone else think another color like maybe Woo Me or Super would look nice with this look? I’m getting my Peacocky delivery later today (hopefully) and I can’t wait to try this out. I think my skin is cooler than the lovely Christine’s so I don’t feel confident enough to pull off So Vain. Think Woo Me or Super would do well?
Woo Me would definitely work
This look is so pretty Christine! You just keep getting better and better.
Thanks, Jennifer!
this look is beautiful.. and you are gorgeous!!!
Thank you, Laura!
I love this look! It sucks that most of the eyeshadows are no longer available but I’m going to try to find them or the closest color I can find!!! Absolutely beautiful!!!!
Thank you, Debbie!
I love this! ^_^
Love this look! Gonna try this one for school tomorrow! Thnxxxxx ♥
