Golden Globe Awards: Christina Aguilera
Christina Aguilera looks absolutely beautiful — really subtle yet noticeable makeup. Very classy. The dress… at least it’s different than all the ruffly dresses we’ve been seeing tonight!
Beauty Inspiration
“I wanted to create a soft natural look on Christina to compliment her gown and new haircut,” said Kristofer Buckle for NARS Cosmetics. “Her dress choice was a beautiful pastel peach with silver. I didn’t want the look to fight with her gown. The final look is chic and seamless, with a earthy colored smokey eye and glowing skin.” – Kristofer Buckle for NARS Cosmetics
Beauty Breakdown
Complexion: Use the Balancing Moisture Lotion and apply the Makeup Primer as a base. Apply Firming Foundation and set with Pressed Powder
Eyes: Apply the vanilla side of India Song Duo Eyeshadow as a base, over the entire lid and up to eyebrow. Next, use the shimmering walnut shade of India Song Duo Eyeshadow and apply to the outer corner and under the bottom lash line. Then, use the warm rich brown side of Cordura Duo Eyeshadow just under eye rubbing into the lower lash line to create smokey eye. Curl the eyelashes and apply a coat of Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara to top and bottom lashes, following with 2 coats of Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara for full lashes. Take Nuits Blanches Eyeliner Stylo and dot in between individual lashes [Kristofer’s tip: “I used the Push Eyeliner Brush to blend the eyeliner in between the lashes, which helped to apply just enough without looking to heavy.”]
Lips: Use the Fantasia Lipliner Pencil and Niagara Lipstick. Next, apply Easy Lover Lip Gloss (NEW for Spring 2010) over. [Kristofer’s tip:“Applying a sheer pink gloss on top of a nude colored lip provides a nice modern pop of color.”]
Cheeks: Generously apply Orgasm Illuminator (NEW for Spring 2010) to cheekbones, décolletage, and shoulders for an all over glow. Use Malaysia Multiple Bronzer to contour cheeks by blending under cheekbones. Apply the Mata Hari Blush to the apple of cheeks and lightly tap on browbone. [Kristoper’s tip: “Lightly dusting a blush on the browbone gives life to the eye and melds the whole look together.”] Next, with short, back and forth quick strokes use Nico Blush to highlight cheekbones

wow she's beautiful. she's got that natural beauty and and wonderful voice. singers these days are good till they don't have technological help! brava girl!
Amazing, a fav for the night. She looks the best I've seen her in years. Love the hair, the gorgeous makeup, and her lovely dress. The colour was perfectin on her. She looks so luminous.
I don't know about this one. Not sure I like this dress for her upper body, but it's pretty. I think Halle would have rocked it better. *shrugs*
Hair and make up great, she does look classy rather trashy. The dress though maybe not my favorite is befitting for her. It helps her keep a slight and subtle rocker-ish edge.
she looks pretty but whoa, i totally did a second take on that dress.. i'm not sure if i like it or not.. o well, at least her makeup is still flawless
I barely recognized her. This is the first time I have seen her looking... human. Her make-up is not overdone and it is great with her skintone. I know the dress is odd but I kind of like I it! I think without that odd thing on the right (our right) of the hip, it would be fantastic. It is nice to see her toned down and having a bit of class. Usually it is terrible caked-on clown make-up with terrible hair to match, along with some skanky clothes.
I love everything about this. Her hair, makeup, dress, everything is gorgeous and goes so well together!
I think her face looks amazing. everything is blended superbly.....she's not to glossy or shiny. perfect. even love the gown. it's still her style just more mature.
makeup is *fabulous* and so not over the top vampy--or whorish, even--like usual. just classic and pretty. wanted to see her wearing something black or maybe blue, but not peach chiffon....blegh! and so misshapen, too.
I absolutly LOVE Christina! She looks amazing, when I saw her yesterday I literally gasped! Beautiful!
Is it just me or does anyone else see the foundation line at the hair line? Are my eyes playing tricks on me? But I love the eyes and the silver on the dress.
So pretty! The hair is great. Flawless skin, a lovely lip color, and the lashes add drama without making the look a dark smokey one. Her eyes look so bright. Very pretty...
She looks stunning! I love how seamless her foundation is. It melts right into her skin. She looks truly beautiful.
Love this look! I love her dress, and her makeup (a nice change from her usual red lips look!) but I don't like much her haircut.
She will be in the February edition of Marie Claire. I read about it at iFashion Network here's the link http://www.ifashionnetwork.com/ifashion-designers/imisc/59-imisc/274-february-media-buzz-christina-aguilera.html
Wow, who would have thought there was a gorgeous woman underneath all those layers of clown make up. I love this look. The hair, the make up, dress... everything about her (besides the tattoo) is elegant. Thumbs up!!!
I love everything !! The hair, the makeup (amazing, perfect, classy makeup) and the dress. She looks gorgeous
I personally love when she wears bold lip colors! neutral lips are boring!! but this look is beautiful!! its always good to change up your look! Her bright lips are her staple look, so I dont know why people are saying they are sick of it, if your not wearing it dont worry about!
Oh my heavens, that dress is just flawless. Innovative but still plain enough that it doesnt go overboard with construction, draping, shaping and colour. Most dresses goes slightly overborad with all those elements nowadays. Love her makeup aswell, but I do prefere her bolder looks or clown-makeup as I saw someone refere it to.
She looks absolutely gorgeous!!! Everything in this look is so right. The hair (love the new do), the dress is beautiful, very different from the other actresses, and I absolutely love the soft makeup look, she has come a long way from her over the top makeup look, without a doubt the best dressed of the night. =-)
so glad she ditched the red lipstick. i love red, but on her it was getting old and cheap, she looks so good
Absolutely perfect in every way- wow I'm gobsmacked! She is stunning head to toe. That lip colour is so beautiful OMG she has come of age! Love the hair too so much is so great.
