light coverage every year 'round, sometimes moisturizing cream + loose powder only.

I hate my skin and I do have a lot to cover. However, I've learnt that the heavy coverage foundation is not the solution. Plus having a super oily skin doesn't help either. Now I use the light to medium coverage foundation and use a good quality concealer to cover blemishes, dark spots, etc.

Heavy because I like wearing a flawless face. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall...heavy.

I generally wear tinted moisturizer or sheer down foundation with moisturizer. I like my natural skin to come through since I've never been completely happy with the shade/finish of a foundation/tm, plus I don't have anything major to cover.

I use a medium to heavy foundation because I mix it with my daycreme to make my own tiented ¨moisturizer :D

I just love the natural finish of a tinted moisturizer. So I only wear light coverage foundations.

Light to medium. I want it to look pretty natural - not too heavy. Some days I wear tinted moisturizer, other days I wear a mediumish weight foundation. Sometimes I apply foundation with a brush (for more coverage); sometimes I use a wet sponge (for sheer coverage). So it varies a bit. The important thing is that it still looks like skin when I'm done.

I prefer heavy coverage because my skin has a lot of redness, acne, and acne scars. However, I hate when foundation looks heavy and cakey, or feels like a mask, so it's hard to find the right one. Right now I'm loving Revlon Colorstay because it looks very natural on me and feels lightweight, even with the terrible summer heat we're having.

I almost never wear foundation, but when I do (photographs), I like full coverage. It makes retouching easier.

I used to like full coverage foundations...And they never looked bad on me, but they never really matched my skin properly. I decided I wanted a light coverage as I don't have that many skin problems to cover, and it worked like a charm. I finally got a foundation and powder that matched my skin and didn't leave a ring around my jaw line. Products I use now is : Diorskin Nude Foundation / Diorskin Nude loose powder , and for quick make up looks I just put on Mac's Select Sheer pressed powder. Love them all really.

Light-Medium. Don't like it to feel or look heavy. I want it to feel like I am not even wearing any foundation.

I use light because I don't feel I need to have lots of coverage. I have freckles that make my skintone a bit uneven and the occasional break out that is about it. For foundation, I like to use a medium buildable one, such as Studio Scuplt and mix in with equal parts moisturizer to make it lighter and sheerer.

I like enough coverage for my scars but not so much that you can tell I'm wearing makeup.

I have so many broken capillaries that only a heavy coverage foundation can even my complexion a bit (I use mineral brands for that)

medium. i have clear skin, i just like it to look more even in tone, so i use mac studio fix. i do have a mac full coverage foundation i use sometimes.

I'm a tinted moisturizer girl myself and then I just follow up with MAC MSF dusted lightly on top. I have made peace with the unperfect discolorations on my face! Leaves me time to concentrate on doing my eyes =)

For foundation - medium. Otherwise(for light coverage) I use powder. ;)

Light...I fortunately have even smooth skin. One around that time of the month I may get a pimple I conceal and call it day til it goes away after a few day.

My skin has a good silky appearance when it's nude, no acne scar or anything that absolutely need to be concealed. I just need a super light coverage to even and enlight all this a bit and that's all. Like a tinted moisturer (the new MAC in light is great) and a little bit of powder on my nose. I don't like heavy foundation because I don't like how it feels on my face. Also the opacity and artificial color of a covering foundation really clash with my white and super transparent body skin.

Light to medium in summer and medium in fall/winter. I don't want to feel the heaviness of foundation in the summer and I don't care to look too cakey or overdone. So during the summer I use MAC Select lightly or the loose mineral foundation or Studio Fix. Any of those work just fine for me. The only full coverage I like is MAC Studio Sculpt, but I usually only wear that when I go to an event (ie wedding or going to a club).

In the summer I like something very light since I have oily sking and most of the time it just slides off anyway (even with a primer). It the fall/winter and tend to favor medium coverage.

I don't have major acne, but I do have a bunch of faint acne scars. :( I like the natural look of tinted moisturizer though, so I put a little bit of medium-coverage foundation on my cheeks (where the scars are) and then put TM everywhere else. High maintenance, but necessary!
