since I have curly hair, I can’t wash it everyday, it would totally dry out.

I wash it once every two weeks. Yeah I know I know, sounds gross. I’m Black, though, and I have a relaxer. If I wash it then I’d have to blow dry it and then flat iron or curl it. That’s no good for my hair. So my hairdresser washes it, then I set under a hair dryer with curlers in my hair.

Like the first two girls, I have curly hair, so I can’t wash everyday. I usually have two days between each wash.

i wash my hair daily or else it becomes oily and slick and i don’t like that feeling. it feels dirty if i don’t wash my hair daily. i mostly use conditioner without the shampoo or i use both depending.

I used to wash it everyday, which I kind of have to because my hair is very fine and if I don’t, the scalp gets oily and sometimes flakes. Gross. But I also dye my hair red, which is the fastest fading hair color (of course). This creates a dilemma! I have dropped down to only washing it 2-3 times a week to minimize the red washing out and I put powder on my roots to soak up any excess oil. It seems to work, although I hate not washing it everyday. Such a pain!

When my hair was short, I’d do it every day or every other. Now that it’s locked, I do it more like weekly or bi-weekly.

I wash mine once a week or week and a half if I can stretch it. I am a hairdresser and change my color waaaay too often so it is a little stressed, so it is just better I don’t wash it too often. My hair is also really frizzy and curly (naturally) and I hate the way it feels/behaves when it is too clean! Plus, it feels like such a chore. I mean, I like doing other people’s hair-but not my own! LOL

I have long (almost to base of spine), thick, silky hair that has a habit of looking very greasy if it isn’t washed daily, but my hairdresser recommended some amazing Redken shampoo and it suits my hair type perfectly, so now i can go with washing it every second, or even third, day. It’s so handy, and much better for my hair, because I have to let my natural oils work into it to keep it in good condition: I hate seeing long hair that isn’t properly maintained because you end up with ratty, broken ends.

  9. I have coarse, curly, very thick hair………so only every 2 days at the most, or i get a giant poofball — especially in summer!

I usually wash it every 2 days. Washing it every day is unnecessary and too much of a hassle for me, since I have LOTS of hair that takes forever to dry, especially when it’s cold.

I wash my hair every second day. It is such a pain (seriously)!!

I have pretty long hair (mid-back) and it is quite fine. This is the perfect recipe for split ends and greasy roots! argh!

Its also highlighted so I like to use products specifically for coloured hair so the colour will last longer, and usually these products are moisturising….so its a double edged sword!

now that I think about it I would much rather have dry hair, cos it seems so much easier to fix that problem (whack in some cream or hair oil or whatever) to oily hair (NEEDS a wash, yes the whole process of washing, drying, styling….)

During the summer it would be everyday due to the heat and humidity. But during the winter every other day. : )

Twice a week, because it is SUCH a pain in the arse to dry, and then I have to straighten it all over again. Plus, when it’s TOO clean, it doesn’t behave correctly.
