My skincare routine is very simple, wash my face in the shower, put facecream on and go. :) Then I do my make up which takes up to 15 minutes.

the skincare is pretty quick…it’s the makeup that takes ages!!! 😛

  3. Yeah, skincare is wash, tone and moisturize. i wear the most basic makeup in the morning for work bc i practically roll out of bed to get ready; eyebrows, concealer, light powder foundation, blush and burt’s bees chapstick (love this!). so about 15 minutes total. going out on weekends, i’ll def need more time. =)

I have to exfoliate, wash, use my Thermaclear, put on acne cream, put on moisturizer, put on EYE cream… and then I’m done. Booo, it takes forever, and my night routine is no better :\

A.M. Wash face, tone, specific serum for deep lines, lifting serum for rest of face, eye cream, face moisturizer with SFP, charged water.
P.M. same except that I scrub, and the moisturizer is a night cream without SFP.

Usually its pretty quick. I cleanse with a gentle cleanser. I’m using Loccitane Riz right now, something with glycolic and salacylic when I’m more oily. I always use a serum. Dr Brandt antiglycation serum I use it in the a.m. for the p.m., I use the tomer from Bliss’s The Youth as We Know It line. Its an awesom gel like formula, I’m never living without it again! Then I moisturize with whatever I feel my skin needs. Primary Care by Cosmedicine when I need SPF and a light formula. Most often, I’m using Ren’s Vitamineral Radiant Cream, and at night I use Korres Yogurt moisturizer. Makes my skin so so soft when I wake up. And I do a peel once a week. A green apple peel from Juice Beauty or Pumpkin enzyme peel from Peter Thomas Roth when I’m feeling really yucky.

Skin care is simple for me, it’s the MAKEUP that I am thrilled about in the morning.

I just wash my face (sometimes I don’t even do that if I washed my face the night b4 or sumthin), put on moisturizer, when I can get my hands on it I put on VERY expensive anti-aging cream to my fine eye and mouth lines to keep them from comin back in the pm, and only at nights do I put on zit zapper. The makeup takes forever: concealer, powder, sometimes contour, blush, elaborate brown smokey eyeshadow, liner, smudge the liner with mahogany shadow, mascara, eyebrows, chapstick and lipgloss/lipstick. WHOA!! yea, it takes awhile.. around 45 minutes. Christine, maybe you should do a post asking how long the makeup routine takes and what we use! I think you’d find it useful to see what us other makeup gurus do 😉 Although nobody’s as good with makeup as you! Are you goin to be a makeup artist when you’re out of college?

I am shocked it could take a skincare regime more than 10 minutes! Like everyone else said, its the makeup application which is time consuming! Looks like we have some VERY patient ladies out there!!~

Cleanse my face with a cleanser (or, soap/water) and moisturize – less than 10 minutes. No toner or astringent will touch my face ever.

shoot, I was factoring makeup into the time equation. Oh well, I skewed the poll results.

Skincare takes about 10-15 minutes. I’m currently using Mary Kay timewise. This includes 3 in 1 cleanser with microbeads, day solution sunscreen, moisturizer, anti wrinkle eye cream, satin lips mask/balm..then after all of this bring on the makeup :) For the P.M. it’s the same routine except instead of the day solution, I use a night solution with microbeads. Every two days I then use my microdermebrasion set. This works wonderful to make your skin bright and feels so clean!!
