Seems like you guys like polls, so I’ll do them more often as a fun little post (don’t worry, it’s not replacing “real” content, LOL!). I know how several of you are perusing the site while at work, and who doesn’t love a little distraction?

Mine actually depends on the day. I only wash my hair every other day, so the days I wash my hair take longer. My make up takes about 20 mins alone…however, I NEVER go to work without make up. I will stick my hair up in a ponytail in a minute though! lol

Wow, I suck. I’m in the minority. I always thought it was normal taking two hours to get ready, if you were a girl. But apparently not! Technically I guess I could do it in an hour and a half but definitely no less. If I didn’t put on make-up I’d cut my getting-ready time by 30 minutes though. My hair takes about 15. I dunno. I don’t care! It’s me who suffers (having to get up earlier), so I’m not sure why everyone else always feels the need to make comments; it doesn’t affect them!

Also, I DO NOT like to rush and I am ALWAYS on time. So I purposely give myself extra time in the morning–that also plays a role. I am never one of those people rushing out the door, forgetting things, etc. And I always arrive early with time to go to the bathroom or whatever before work. So I like my routine and I’m not stressed out like almost everyone else I know in the morning! Works for me. :)

Depends on whether or not I’m actually doing my hair.

When I do my hair full out, that alone can take 45 minutes. Because my hair is super straight, but super thick, it has a mind of it’s own. By which I mean the tendency to create volume anywhere but the roots. So there’s a lot of blowing out with big brushes in that area, followed by a relatively cool flat iron in order to smooth out any frizzies which have developed. But usually I’m pretty lazy and half do it, blowing it dry, then a quick flatiron on the top layer followed by leaving it in a high pony with a scrunchie (see, they are good for something! But only in the house) until my make-up is done.

Make-up tends to take me about 20 minutes to half an hour. Maybe longer if I’m experimenting.

All together on your average day, with shower, I’d say that it’s about a 50 minute process. Unless I’m already running late, in which case it seems to take an 1 hour and 20 minutes. I don’t know why… Murphy’s Law?

I take 2 hours to shower, do my hair and makeup LOL but i have very thin hair so it takes ages for me to crim it slightly so it appears thicker :)

It takes me at least thirty minutes on most days and at most forty. I spend a lot of time on my hair because it’s long and out of control on most days, and it’s the last thing I attend to. I apply make up first and if I have time, I style my hair. Or else if I’m going to tie it up in a bun, I don’t take more than thirty minutes.

Usually less than 10 min, but I shower at night. My showers are typically like 5 min, but I can’t wait long enough to dry off properly. Plus I do my skincare regime after my showers, so that would add a lot of time I think!
