I only wear sunscreen when I know I will be out in the sun longer than 1 hour.

I’m allergic to every face sunscreen I’ve ever tried, and the one I found for body that I’m not allergic to, I can’t wear anymore because I’m too fragrance sensitive now. Instead, I avoid sunlight and use a parasol if I’m going to be out in the sun for longer than a literal minute or two.

I only wear it if I’m purposely sunbathing. Every brand of sunscreen I’ve used makes me break out so I would never consider wearing it everyday.

both my moisturizer and foundation have spf in it
it’s so important!!!

I wear sunblock every day, and reapply several times a day. On my face, I apply an SPF 30 tinted moisturizer and an SPF 15 powder. Now that does not add up to an SPF 45 by any means, but it does keep you covered, especially if you make sure your nose stays powdered. On my body, I use a sheer spray SPF 70 that protects against UVA and UVB rays. I put that on before I dress, before going out for lunch and before I leave work for the day.

I’m a redhead, and have already had 3 patches of skin cancer removed from my body. I’ve recently discovered a 4th patch on my chest and will have to get that removed next. Stay protected! Skin cancer is very real.

I wasn’t good about it at all, because I couldn’t find a sunscreen that didn’t sting. I started using Aveeno sunscreen for the face, and it doesn’t sting much. I certainly apply it if I expect to be outside more than half an hour of combined time.
