MAC Glitter & Ice Beauty Powders ($24.00 for 0.35 oz. each) include two, limited edition shades: How Beautiful! (pale shimmering beige) and Snowglobe (frosty pink beige). The collection is slated to hit stores on October 27th. Beauty powders are soft, sheer to semi-sheer products that can be used on the face as a highlighter or finishing powder, but occasionally they’ll be pigmented enough (or your skin tone may be light enough) for them to be used as a bronzer/blusher. The two featured in this launch lend themselves more as highlighters, even on lighter complexions.
MAC Glitter & Ice Paint Pots ($18.50 for 0.17 oz. each) include three limited edition shades for the holidays. These will hit stores on October 27th, 2011. The three shades are: For Effect (black with pearl), Let’s Skate (pale pink with pearl), and Morning Frost (shimmering champagne taupe).
MAC Glitter & Ice Nail Lacquers ($16.00 for 0.34 fl. oz. each) include three limited edition shades for the holidays. These will hit stores on October 27th, 2011, but luckily I was able to snag the collection through an unveiling party (had to find a store that would ship to me!) to get swatches and photos for you. The three shades are: Unconditionally Fabulous (super sparkle white), Festive Finery (dirty mid-tone greyed violet), and Get Noticed (true bright red).
MAC Matchmaster Foundation ($32.50 for 1.18 fl. oz.) is a buildable, medium-coverage liquid foundation with a “moisturizing demi-matte finish.” It’s supposed to have “line-reducing soft-focus powders” and “translucent pigments to enable a fully personalized finish influenced by the subtleties of your own skin’s undertone.”
