OVERALL, the Mineralize Blush Duos are very similar to the mineralize blushes in terms of texture/smoothness, but these are definitely a little more on the shimmery side. The marbelized half of the duo is similar to mineralize skinfinishes, and some of them run chunkier in the glitter particles than others. I’d almost say that, in some aspects, the marbelized side is more of a highlighter while the mono side is where the color is packed. However, some of the duos do have fairly pigmented marbelized sides, so don’t think I’m telling you to only use it one way! These are very multi-tasking products, use them as you please One thing to note is with baked products, you can use them wet or dry without worrying about destroying the product itself (like you might with a regular powder eyeshadow).
I was not particularly impressed or wowed by any of the duos, though they sure look pretty. I think if you liked the first mineralize blushes and you’re into mineralize skinfinishes, you should definitely check them out. For me, none of the shades grabbed me as “OMG FREAKOUT!!$!@#”, you know? The closest color that did that for me was Light Over Dark, though! Is anyone else a little sad about how mineralize blushes are domed? No way I can depot these babies (aside from the fact that they’re ultra fragile!)–I just know they’re going to end up in a bin after a few weeks. I guess this urges me to depot a bunch of blushes so maybe they’ll fit in my blush container, ha!

Kitty Kouture is a short but sweet collection, and it will rob you blind after you take one look at all of the Swarovski crystals on the blinged out compact. For those wondering, the bling-bling kitty chain on the dazzleglasses is removable. The packaging for the dazzleglasses is well-done with black box packaging with a glittery kitty on the outside (not Swarovski crystals!). The kitty charm has a clear plastic sheet overlayed on the front and back, to only be removed if you want to reduce the value ;P
The compact is silver with plenty of Swarovski crystals, and inside is the sheer mystery powder. I’m not a big fan of the sheer mystery powder; it just doesn’t do anything for me. It’s like a subpar to average pressed powder. I also find the shade range very limiting–Medium Plus is too dark but Light Medium is too light! I overheard a lot of people are getting Dark Secret–I’m thinking maybe people are going to contour with it instead. I really see this compact as a collector’s item, and by that, I do mean Hello Kitty collector’s item.
Kitty Kouture is a sheer, glittery/shimmery milky pink shade. It’s really not going to give you a ton of color, but it is pretty and catches the eye. I would say of the two dazzleglasses from KK, this is the one that dazzled me the most. (Oh, punny.)
Dazzlepuss is a slightly darker, deeper pink–kind of like a medium pink–with just as much glitter in it. It has more color to it in the swatch, but it’s still very sheer on the lips. This one may show up as a light pink tint if your lips aren’t too pigmented.

Cremesheen lipsticks from Cremeteam lip swatches! I do feel Cremesheen lipsticks to be well-pigmented, but the texture can be a little drying for some. I definitely recommend layering your lips with some balm 10-15 minutes prior (then blotting it off) so your lips take the color better. Creme In Your Coffee surprised me with how pretty it was on (I thought it might be a little on the brown side for me), and Hang Up was ridiculously dark (which means who knows when I’ll wear it!). Lickable is definitely in-ya-face in its rich color, but I’m sure it’ll be a popular one! See the colors for yourself! Continue reading →
