Tarina Tarantino Floriculture Conditioning Lip Sheen

Tarina Tarantino Floriculture Conditioning Lip Sheen ($22.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “rich beet magenta.” It’s a rich raspberry red with subtle blue undertones and soft, glossy sheen. Revlon Raspberry Pie is a smidgen less red, not quite as bright. Guerlain Girly is redder. OCC Queen is brighter. Guerlain Champs-Elysees is rather close, just more opaque (so it looks a little darker).

OCC Heroine Lip Tars – Black Dahlia, Lydia, Marion, Psycho, Starling, Sybil

OCC Fall 2012 Lip Tars ($16.00 for 0.33 oz.) sees the launch of six new shades: Black Dahlia (blackened red), Lydia (darkroom plum), Marion (deceitfully dirty rose), Psycho (dripping with blood red), Starling (deeply rusted red), and Sybil (midnight brownout). The six shades are inspired by the brand’s favorite horror movie heroines.

Too Faced Juicy Melons La Creme Lipstick

Too Faced Juicy Melons La Creme Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.11 oz.) is described as a “pink coral.” It’s a strawberry pink with a strong yellow undertone, so I could see it looking to coral–I think it’s a smidgen on the pinker side. This is like a much tamer variation of MAC Force of Love. Chanel Hyde Park is brighter and less yellow-toned. Guerlain Giulette is a bit brighter and has a gold sheen, but it is similar. MAC Sunny Seoul is a touch lighter. Bobbi Brown Pink Peony is quite comparable, perhaps a touch darker.

LUSH Vibrance Liquid Lipstick

LUSH Vibrance Liquid Lipstick ($22.95 for 0.20 oz.) is described as a “shimmering, golden orange.” It’s a brightened tangerine orange with lighter, golden orange shimmer/glitter. OCC Banjee is similar in color to the lighter shimmer, but it’s an opaque lip color with no shimmer. I couldn’t think of anything that came that close. You would better be able to achieve a look like this by wearing an orange lipstick and pairing it with a gold-shimmered gloss.

MAC Yung Rapunxel Lipstick

MAC Yung Rapunxel Lipstick ($15.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “deep plum” with an amplified finish. It’s a dark, vampy purple with red undertones and semi-opaque color coverage. Urban Decay Apocalypse is slightly redder. MAC Fervent is purpler. MAC Smoked Purple is more opaque, so it appears darker and the red undertones are subtler. NARS Train Bleu is more opaque, slightly darker.
