Hourglass Nectar Extreme Sheen Lipgloss

Hourglass Nectar Extreme Sheen Lipgloss ($28.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a brightened coral with subtle pink undertones. It applies nearly opaque, but it doesn’t apply as evenly as I’d like–close but there are still a few uneven areas. It has a high gloss finish with lots of shine and gives lips a rather juicy look from the creamy finish.

Illamasqua Succubus Intense Lipgloss

Illamasqua Succubus Intense Lipgloss (£13.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is a near-true red with a glossy finish and almost opaque color coverage. Illamasqua describes this shade as a “blood red,” and I can definitely see it. On me, it seems to pull just the tiniest bit orange-red, but it seems to be the result of my yellower undertones (even blue-reds can sometimes look orange-toned once I wear them). In comparison to other Intense Lipglosses, Succubus seems a touch on the sheerer side but still rather pigmented.

Dolce & Gabbana Bon Bon Lip Gloss

Dolce & Gabbana Bon Bon Lip Gloss ($29.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a pale, milky cotton candy pink with ultra-fine shimmer. It’s semi-opaque, and with its creamier finish, it does settle into lip lines, which I did find was noticeable even from afar. I would recommend wearing a light pink or nude lipstick underneath to minimize the lip gloss settling into the lines.

MAC Lightfully Bright Lipglass Swatches, Photos, Review

The Lightfully Bright Collection contains four skincare products (which I am not currently reviewing, since skincare requires 6-8 weeks of testing and I already decide on what to try 3-4 months in advance to plan accordingly) along with four lipglass shades. Each lipglass retails for $14.50 and comes in standard MAC packaging. The shades include: Astro Cool (light lavender with pink pearl), Atmospheric (pink with blue pearl), Ethereal (pale blue with pink pearl), and Outer Space (white with pink pearl).

Smashbox Endless Kiss Limitless Long Wear Lip Gloss

my thoughts on the formula: It’s a thicker, nearly non-sticky but it has this faint tackiness, along with a subtle, spiced vanilla scent. I have not found the majority of the range to have much pigmentation, so the differences between each gloss is minimal. They last four hours on me, which is shy of the six they’re proposed to last. My concern with these glosses in the amount you get — a mere 0.10 oz. Most glosses are more like 0.20 oz.  They do have SPF 15 in them, which is a nice touch.
