Benefit Kiss You Ultra Plush Lipgloss ($16.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “clear fuchsia.” It looks like a creamy, magenta fuchsia when squeezed out of the tube, but on lips, it’s definitely more of a sheer fuchsia pink with blue undertones. Bobbi Brown Electric Violet is shimmery and more fuchsia. Urban Decay Crush is similar in color but more opaque (so it appears bolder/brighter). Korres Crocus is purpler.
It has semi-sheer color coverage; enough color that it tints the natural lip color to a brighter pink, but it looks and acts more as a stain or veil of color. In that respect, it looks mostly even once applied and doesn’t settle into lip lines. It has a not too thick, not too thin consistency (about medium) that feels very gel-like. There’s a lot of slip, but it doesn’t feel heavy, though as a result, it doesn’t have great staying power–with Kiss You, it lasts around two hours. It is somewhat hydrating but won’t replace a good lip balm. It has a sweet, fruity scent and comes in a squeeze-tube with a slanted tip applicator.
The real downside to Benefit's Ultra Gloss formula seems to be that they just don't stay on lips for long, so you're regularly reapplying (good thing these come with 0.50 fl. oz.--quite a bit more than most glosses).

The texture is very gel-like; thicker than some glosses but not in a heavy, goopy way, but in a creamy, gel kind of way. It’s non-sticky from the get-go and stays that way throughout the wear. With A-Lister, the wear wasn’t too impressive–a mere two and a half hours. You can definitely move it around on the lips, which is likely why it doesn’t hold on as long as some other glosses do. For as milky as the color is, it didn’t settle too noticeably into lip lines and yielded rather even coverage overall. It was semi-opaque in color; enough that it substantially altered my natural lip color but still allowed it to come through. The formula was lightly hydrating–no replacement for a true lip balm but a great daytime alternative that gives some color.
The gloss also has a sweet, fruity scent–I did notice a bit initially after applying, and I’m not particularly sensitive to scents, so if you aren’t a fan of that type of scent, you might want to sniff it in store, first. It comes in a squeeze-tube with a slanted-tip applicator.

As part of an attempt to bring more vibrant/pigmented shades into Burberry’s range, Coral is a nice addition–it’s semi-opaque to mostly opaque with some translucency where the natural lip color will come through but is covered for the most part. It applied evenly and smoothly, without settling into lip lines, or feathering/bleeding during wear. I didn’t have any issues with the shimmer traveling during the four and a half hours this lasted on my lips. It’s somewhat hydrating–not the most hydrating but not at all drying. Burberry’s Lip Glows are non-sticky, gel-like, and are a cushion-y, comfortable gloss to wear that has a light floral scent.

Burberry’s spring shades are an “introduction of radiant colours” to the brand’s beauty range, with Pink Sweet Pea meant to be a “playful” shade. I put that out there, because the Lip Glow formula is also described as “a hint of color” normally. So, good news to those who love more pigmented and opaque glosses, because Pink Sweet Pea is certainly that–semi-opaque to mostly opaque with an underlying translucency that gives the natural lip color an opportunity to peek through. Based on Burberry’s spring/summer collection, which is what the spring beauty range is supposed to have drawn inspiration from, everything is bold, bright, and colorful.
It is a really lovely gloss formula that’s gel-like and cushion-y when worn. It’s a comfortable gloss to wear, and it’s lightly hydrating–it’s not going to outdo a dedicated lip balm, but it won’t leave you reaching for the nearest lip balm for a few hours post-wear. It’s non-sticky and it has a floral scent, and while I’ve experienced it at a higher potency in other Lip Glows, it seemed subtler here. Pink Sweet Pea wore four and a half hours on me.
I'm really happy I bought this shade, because it's such a comfortable gloss to wear. It's also a nice break from some of the softer, more pastel pinks for spring.

It’s semi-sheer and allows a lot of the natural lip color to come through, which can warm/cool the color as well as make it appear pinker/redder. Because of its lightness, it does settle into lip lines and can cause lines of demarcation if you press your lips together. On my lips, it definitely appeared less purple applied than it does swatched or in the tube. When I applied it over Viva Glam Nicki 2 lipstick, it gave it a glossier look (of course!) and added a smidgen of pink–gave it less of a cool-toned vibe. It wore three hours on my lips, and the texture and consistency is true-to-formula–thicker and tackier than your average gloss.

It’s semi-opaque–it noticeably tints the lips and makes them look darker, but a lot of the natural lip color can come through. There is a lot of noticeable settling of the darker color into lip lines, and it looked uneven to me even from a normal viewing distance (aka not just up-close-and-personal). I don’t normally have problems with lip colors bleeding/feathering, but this one did migrate a little outside of my lips. It had the normal feel of Lipglass–a thicker formula with a tacky feel. This shade coordinates really well with Boyfriend Stealer, though this is a smidgen browner overall. Feelin’ So Good wore just under four hours on me.
