Look – Quick 5 Neutral Minute Eyes

This is my incredibly easy and super fast natural/neutral eye. No matter what the occasion is, this eye is always appropriate, which makes it really useful to have in my back pocket. (Particularly useful on days when I can’t come up with anything else!)

You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Soft Ochre paint pot (neutral beige base), Ricepaper eyeshadow (neutral beige), Soft Brown eyeshadow (soft medium brown), Wedge eyeshadow (medium dark brown), Urban Decay Lucky 24/7 Liner (copper), Plushlash mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: Margin blush (dirty pink), Dior Amber Diamond Skin Shimmer (bronzy highlighter)
  • Lips: Sweetie lipstick (pink), Sweetie lipglass (pink)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 219 (pointed crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Sweetie = Pink Poodle

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the lid, pack Ricepaper eyeshadow on using the 239. Apply Soft Brown eyeshadow to the outer portion of the lid. Darken crease with Wedge eyeshadow using the 226. Sweep Ricepaper eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Lucky Liner on lower lash line. Apply Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Margin blush using the 129, then highlight with Dior Amber Diamond Skin Shimmer with the 165. Apply Sweetie lipstick to lips, and then top with Lychee Luxe lipglass for color and shine.

Look – Beige Nudes with Deep Blues

This look is from yesterday πŸ™‚ It’s pretty simple, and I had originally intended to wear one of Colour Ready’s bright lipsticks with it, but it definitely did *not* look good with a super bright lip. I can’t figure out why the cheeks stand out so much in pictures, because they SO didn’t in real life. I liked the way the eyes turned out, but I definitely could have paired it with different cheeks/lips to really bring it all together. Maybe next time πŸ™‚

You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Soft Ochre paint pot (neutral beige base), Ricepaper eyeshadow (soft beige-neutral), Deep Truth eyeshadow (dark navy blue), Freshwater eyeshadow (medium bright blue), Eve Pearl Liquid Liner Pen (black), Givenchy Navy kohl (navy blue), Plushlash mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: Dior Coral Riviera blush (soft coral)
  • Lips: Sweetie lipstick (pink), Cult Fave lipglass (pastel pink)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Cult Fave = Cultured

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid as the base. On the lid, apply Ricepaper eyeshadow using the 239. Darken crease with Deep Truth eyeshadow using the 226, then overlay with Freshwater eyeshadow. Sweep Ricepaper eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Givenchy Navy kohl on lower lash line, Eve Pearl Liquid Liner Pen on upper lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Dior Coral Riviera blush with the 188. Apply Sweetie lipstick to lips, and then top with Cult Fave lipglass for color and shine.

Easy look today. I was actually only putting on makeup because I wanted to snap a picture of my hair πŸ˜‰ I originally paired this eye with Strayin’ lipstick and Nice to Be Nice lipglass from HK, but I wasn’t feeling it so I swapped it out. My head is aching something fierce this morning, so I think I’m going to grab some food and cases to read and lay down for a bit. Perhaps snooze a lil’, since I didn’t get much sleep last night!

Hope you’re all getting through your week πŸ™‚
