37 Pink Lipsticks & Lipglosses
Over the course of the past three months, we featured 81 different shades of summer-appropriate lipsticks and lipglosses. I really hope you enjoyed it as much as I have (though perhaps not my lips, ha!).
- Chanel Phoenix Rouge Allure Laque is a slightly more coral version of Laura Mercier Hydrangea Lipstick.
- Dolce & Gabbana Pink Lipstick is very similar to Guerlain Giulette Rouge G Lipstick, but it doesn’t quite have the gold sheen nor is it as opaque.
- Illamasqua Frenzy Intense Lipgloss is a bit brighter than VS Makeup Be Mine Lipstick.
- Illamasqua Petulant Intense Lipgloss is a lipgloss version of MAC Girl About Town Lipstick.
- Lancome Fuchsia Clutch Lipstick is a lighter version of MAC Full Fuchsia Lipstick and NARS Funny Face Lipstick, the latter two being very similar to each other. NYX Chloe Lipstick is a darker version of those three as well.
- MAC Chatterbox Lipstick is just a touch pinker than MAC Speed Dial Lipstick with less golden sheen.
- Make Up For Ever #203 Lipstick is darker and pinker than Milani Rose Hip Lipstick, but they are similar.
- NARS Schiap Lipstick is a darker version of Milani Rose Hip Lipstick.

Bobbi Brown Guava Lipstick is si milar to Illamasqua Brink Lipstick. gloMinerals Passion Fruit Lipstick is a lipstick version of Illamasqua Mistress Intense Lipgloss that’s a little darker. Korres #47 Orange Brown Lipstick is a bit browner but otherwise similar to MAC See Sheer Lipstick. Laura Mercier Tangerine Lipstick is a smidgen pinker and creamier, but still similar to MAC Crosswires.

There were definitely some fierce oranges featured over the past few months! My personal favorite shades were #1, 3, 8, 9, and 11.
If you’ve been jonesin’ for either MAC Morange or Neon Orange, Milani Mandarina is a decent dupe–just a smidgen lighter. Illamasqua Temper, though a gloss, is similar in color to Dolce & Gabbana Sheer Shine Lipstick.

Today marks the end of the Summer Season, which means it’s time for round-ups to see what’s close, what’s similar, and all of that. There weren’t too many purple lipsticks/glosses that were really rich and pigmented, so with only six featured in during the series, there are definitely no dupes amongst them!

Lancome Fuchsia Clutch Lipstick
($22.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a bright pink with fuchsia shimmer. It’s not pure fuchsia, but it’s still quite bold and intense. The base color is a deep, rich pink, while the fuchsia shimmer creates a brilliant, duochromed sheen–particularly when the light hits it just right. I love the amount of color it delivers–it’s a nice, semi-opaque shade. Lancome’s Color Design shades tend to give me about four hours of wear, and this particular shade will wear a little longer, as it stains just a touch.

The Summer Season: Shiseido Pout (RS326) Lipstick
Shiseido Pout (RS326) Lipstick
($25.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a semi-sheer pinky mauve with a high gloss sheen. The Perfect Rouge formula is incredibly moisturizing, and even though this is part of the sheer line, it’s still quite pigmented. It has subtle pink micro-shimmer that gives it a little added oomph without making it too shimmery. It’s also scent- and taste-free — just a pleasant nothingness! I get between two and three hours of wear with this sheerer shade, but it fades quite naturally and doesn’t leave a ring of color behind.
