Welcome Back, Stila!

Stila Cosmetics is really back, darlings! New owner Lynn Tilton has been welcomed into the Stila Girl fold, and she’d like to offer a complimentary Stila Appreciation 24kt Luxe Lip Gloss with a purchase of $25 or more. Just use code APPRECIATE. Oh yeah, that’s right–the website is back online and in action!

It sounds like Stila has some very interesting things planned for the future, so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what direction they go in over the next few months. By the way, am I the only one who didn’t know about Stila’s very nifty rewards program? Where have I been?!

7 Must-Have MAC Dazzleglasses

About the Temptalia Must-Haves Series
A series of posts showcasing must-have products from MAC Cosmetics’ permanent line of products. Selections are based on quality, universality, uniqueness amongst the line, and the like. Limited edition shades are deliberately excluded to make buying easier. Readers’ comments act as a supplement to these lists of their favorites and must-haves. You can find the entire series here.

Smile dazzleglass is a shimmery confection of peachy gloss with pink and gold pearl shimmer. Just a natural/easy-to-wear kind of color.

Steppin’ Out dazzleglass is a pretty in pink shade with lighter pink shimmer. It’s not really a hot pink, though it looks like it; it’s more wearable, because the formula runs sheer.

Love Alert dazzleglass is a deeper, more opaque raspberryish-pink shade with subtle dazzle shimmer. Looks almost like a lip stain.

Funtabulous dazzleglass is a fuchsia-purple shade with light and bright purple shimmer reflects in it. This is fabulous layered over hot pink and purple lipsticks.

Temptalia Asks You

What MAC Collection would you like to see brought back/redone? Share your favorites!

Temptalia's Answer.

I really liked the Couture collection, actually! I liked Neo Sci Fi a lot, so I’d love to see something similar, but different (though in the same vein).

Ikea’s Helmer ($39.99) is a drawer unit with casters. It has six pull-out drawers, and it is an easy and cost-efficient way to store the majority of your makeup and beauty essentials. I know that a lot of ladies love to store their nail polish in these as well. I prefer the silver color, though it does come in red and white, too. The only downside to the Helmer unit is that the drawers aren’t tall enough to store my body products. (Also, these are misleading in size — they look VERY tiny, but they will store a lot of your bobs and bits!)
