Do you research before you buy a beauty product? What kind of information do you try to find first?
Yes and no. I don’t research in the sense that I’m playing scientist and trying to understand all of the ingredients and the like, but I do look into what I’m interested in and see what others are saying. I also look at claims vs. realm of reality.

Thank goodness it’s Friday, yeah? This week went by surprisingly slow… but in good way. Like yesterday, I thought it was Friday, and I was ecstatic when I realized it was Thursday. I spent the morning doing blog-esque activities, and my tummy is growling like something fierce, so I better toast up a bagel (mmm!) before it turns on me, LOL.
What are your weekend plans? Mine are…
I wish I could say I had TONS OF FUN planned, but no, I don’t. In fact, I think I have the exact opposite. I have a 1-unit, 1-day class to attend from 8am to 5pm on Saturday on leadership for b-school. Zzzz! On Sunday, I need to try to get my butt into gear and start studying/outlining for my finals in law school. I really hope your weekend plans are better, so I can live vicariously through you!

Whether for maintaining the healthy condition of skin after a visit to the salon, or for experiencing the benefits of a spa facial without the appointment, these devices change the paradigm of how we can personally take control of our own skin care regimen at home.
For decades, women throughout Asia have utilized beauty devices to keep their youthful look and maximize the benefits of their skin care. These tools are as common to Asian women as blow dryers are to Americans. With the introduction of these devices, American women will take at-home beauty care to the next level.

Urban Decay Gravity Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a rich, ruby-esque shade of red with maybe a little tinge of raspberry in it. It has a very soft microsparkle of red, but overall, it has a creamy, glossy finish. All of Urban Decay’s lipsticks have a faint sweetened caramel brulee kind of scent, though I don’t find much taste in the lipsticks from my experience. Gravity applies easily and leaves lips hydrated, with the color wearing four to six hours easy. I’d say this is definitely one of my favorite shades I’ve discovered so far during the series.
What about you? Would you wear this red?
The Scarlet Season is a series of posts showcasing and featuring my favorite shades of red lips–from glosses to lipsticks that runs through December 2009. You can sure expect to see a lot of red this holiday season!
