What’s your favorite MLBB (my-lips-but-better) lip color? Share your favorites!

Temptalia's Answer.

Sweetie is a favorite for me, as is Mari-sheeno, though neither are that MLBB, I suppose… Sweetie is similar to my lips, but pinker :)

HauteLook is having a DDF sale!

DDF sale is going on now at HauteLook! :) You’ll find most products at 50% off, including various sets like the 7 Day Radiance Peel Kit ($52.50). I haven’t used many DDF products, but I recently used one of their lightweight moisturizers with SPF and loved it. I think I might have to pick up the Ultra-Lite Oil Free Moisturizing Dew for $20. Sounds up my alley!

Edited: Well, I picked up the Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew, Glycolic 10% Toning Complex, and Blemish Foaming Cleanser.  Can’t wait!

(The link above is an invite-link, which is a referral link. HauteLook has opened up membership, so you are free to sign up on your own, if you wish! :) )

Temptalia Asks You

Have you ever caved to sales’ pressure at the beauty counter? Share your stories!

Temptalia's Answer.

Yes, I definitely have. It tends to happen when I’ve gone to events or had my makeup done… and ended up not really wanting anything. Then I end up buying way more than I want of stuff I wasn’t really wanting in the first place.

Make Up For Ever Launches HD Elixir

Dry, flaky skin is never attractive, but when magnified in high definition format, it becomes unacceptable and makes applying make up a challenge. Make up artists must combat skin dehydration on actors immediately before applying foundation to create a flawless complexion that is worthy of cameras that see 6x what the human eye sees. With no time to wait for results from moisturizers that may take several days to reverse dryness, the artists turned to Dany Sanz, Creator and Artistic Director of MAKE UP FOR EVER, for a solution.

Created specifically to instantly boost skin’s moisture to create a perfectly smooth palette for HD Complexion make up, HD Elixir is a unique hybrid serum that is part skincare and part make up. Clinical tests proved that HD Elixir boosted skin’s moisture a whopping 520% after 15 minutes and continued to hold in moisture at 490% after 30 minutes and 430% after one hour. In addition to the instant surge of moisture, HD Elixir also restores skin’s radiance and erases signs of fatigue, actually firming and giving skin a smooth and soft texture.

To use: Using the push button dropper, squeeze one pump into fingers and apply all over face or solely to very dry areas before HD Microperfecting Primer and HD Invisible Cover Foundation. Wait until serum has been fully absorbed by skin before applying next product.

Available at exclusively at Sephora beginning June 12th. Retail price is $38.00. You can learn more at hd-generation.com.
