Here’s a look at the best performing liquid/cream highlighters for under $25! There aren’t quite as many liquid/cream highlighters on the market, so I decided to split the best of lists between under $25 and over $25. Some of my favorites are ColourPop Might Be, ColourPop Spoon, NYX Moonbeam, and NYX Liquid Prism. What are your favorites to indulge in?
MAC Metallic Lips Collection
MAC Metallic Lips Collection is a set of 18 new, limited edition shades available in MAC’s new “Metallic” finish. To me, the finish was often a cross of a Lustre and Frost — glossier, more emollient like a Lustre but with more shimmer like a Frost, while the coverage was a marriage of the two–semi-sheer to medium, somewhat buildable. I think if MAC had marketed these purely for layering, they would have rated better, but they were advertised as “vibrant, intense” and having “rich colour.” Most of the shades were far from intense or rich in color, unfortunately!
Happy Saturday! I always enjoy seeing what makes up the week’s top ten highest-reviewed products, so I hope you find it somewhat interesting as well! 🙂 I loved the uniqueness of Anastasia Clover, while ColourPop’s Strut would be great with a smoky eye!

Solid longevity for base products, cheek colors, liners, eyeshadows, etc. is about eight hours — it should look good for most of those eight hours and then start fading/going downhill. For lip products, it would depend on the type, but four to five for traditional lipstick and three to four hours for gloss.
