New Product Alert! Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow
Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow

Like all our Eyeshadows, each Moondust shade comes in our new compact with the cool pop-out feature. Pop these shadows out of their compacts and into one of our customizable Build Your Own Palettes to create the ultimate travel-friendly collection. To make Moondust Eyeshadows easier to spot in your makeup bag or palette, the compacts are pale silver (instead of gunmetal like our iconic shadows).

Super-secret new technology at our lab gives Moondust an amazing effect not found in traditional pressed-powder shadows. It feels like a cream but goes on like a powder to create a smooth, brilliantly reflective look. The result? Sexy, twinkling sparkle with a ton of depth and movement. (And a LOT of questions about what you’re wearing!) The colors are like nothing else out there. Our staff is already going nuts over Zodiac, an amazing smoky black with a blue-green shift and a sparkly 3-D effect.

Urban Decay launches Moondust Eyeshadow, a dazzling innovation in eyeshadow with a superrefined and incredibly sophisticated feel. Forget EVERYTHING you know about glitter eyeshadow. Moondust is like NO OTHER shadow. There’s not a speck of chunky “teen glitter” to be found in these babies. Microfine bits of iridescent sparkle collide with intense, dreamy hues and lush 3-D metallics—for an effect that’s out of this world. And while some traditional sparkly shadows tend to look cheap, Moondust has a really luxe, upscale vibe and a gorgeous, diamond-like effect.

Moondust Eyeshadow is infused with a delicate, microfine sparkle and gorgeous 3-D pearls—for a glistening, iridescent effect and amazing flashes of multidimensional sparkle. We recommend applying Moondust with your fingers. For extra intense color payout, try it wet.

Rebound Build Your Own Palette ($10.00) (Limited Edition)

Our redesigned shadows pop OUT of their compacts and INTO customizable Build Your Own Palettes to create the ultimate travel-friendly collection. We usually sell our buildable palettes with one neutral shadow, but this time around we’re letting you unleash your inner type A and call ALL the shots. With four empty spaces and a massive selection of shades, the options are limitless. Choose from nudes, vibrant hues, and deep, dark shades to create your own unique combination, then swap out all four whenever the mood strikes. All Urban Decay Eyeshadows feature our Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability. While the Build Your Own Palette is here to stay, this design will only be available for a short time—get it while you can!

De-Slick Mattifying Powder ($32.00)

Shiny can be really good (when it comes to expensive jewelry, for example) or really bad (when it comes to your T-zone). To curb shiny skin and keep the attention on you for all the RIGHT reasons, use De-Slick, our cult-favorite, shine-stopping pressed powder. Don’t let the pale lavender color fool you; this baby goes on invisibly and works on every skin tone. Try it on naked skin (if you run into the hot guy at the gym), or over foundation (for touch-ups on the dance floor without destroying your makeup). Because the formula contains super lightweight, oil-absorbing rice powder, you won’t feel the powder but you’ll see the shine-free results. Because it’s made from rice powder, this lightweight, super-absorbent formula not only banishes shine, but also absorbs oil. Most pressed powders mix with the skin’s natural oils and can end up looking cakey on your complexion, but not De-Slick. And it’s infused with healing green tea extract to calm and soothe sensitive skin. This shine-fighting formula comes in a luxe Lucite compact with a pretty-but-edgy design drenched in our signature dark purple (so you’ll look as good applying it as you will afterward).

Urban Decay Roach Eyeshadow ($18.00 for 0.05 oz.) is described as a “deep burgundy metallic brown.” It’s a burgundy-tinted brown with warm, reddish-orange undertones and a frosted, metallic finish. I want to call it burgundy, but there is a lot of brown present. bareMinerals Euphoria is very similar in color; it is less metallic in finish, though. Cinderella Rococo is purpler. NARS Flowers 3 #2 is less frosted but similar in color. Estee Lauder Violet Underground #2 is warmer, redder.
