Rescue Beauty Lounge Kellie Gonzo & NailsandNoms Nail Lacquers

Rescue Beauty Lounge Kellie Gonzo Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “bright pink coral.” It’s a medium, rosy coral with silver and copper micro-glitter. It was mostly opaque with two coats of polish. The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, and I had no issues applying it. It almost looked like a jelly when I initially applied it, but it doesn’t retain the squishy look as it dries. I wish the glitter was denser, because it looks mostly like a cream at a normal viewing distance. Essie Sunday Fun Day is very similar. Rescue Beauty Lounge Smile is darker, redder. Dior Diablotine is darker, redder. See comparison swatches.

Rescue Beauty Lounge An Accidental Interloper & Fashion Polish Nail Lacquers

Rescue Beauty Lounge An Accidental Interloper Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “silver with an edge faceted by multi-shimmer hues.” It’s a darkened, charcoal gray shot through with silver shimmer and lots of it. It was opaque after two coats, and the consistency was not too thick or too thin (but thinner compared to the average polish by the brand). The formula applied fairly well and had minimal noticeable brush strokes as it self-leveled nicely. MAC Grey Friday is the only shade I have that is remotely similar, but it is more of a blackened gray with silver shimmer, but not metallic shimmer. See comparison swatches.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie 2.0 & Liberty Nail Lacquers

Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie 2.0 Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as “the color of an oil base that floats on water with rainbow sparkles.” It’s a dirty, olive bronze with multi-colored shimmer and threads of khaki-bronze metallic shimmer. Though I held my nails every which way, in both natural light, artificial light, and direct sunlight, it didn’t shift much. The edges darkened and green tones came through at severe angles, rather than the dirty bronze/khaki coloring. The consistency was thinner than the average RBL, which means the consistency is not too thick or too thin. It had good color coverage with two coats. OCC Ripley is greener and doesn’t have the multi-colored shimmer. SpaRitual Lithophonic is darker, less shimmery. Dior Czarina Gold is much darker, less shimmery. See comparison swatches. I wouldn’t consider any of those real dupes for this shade. This shade sold out before the pre-sale was even half-over, but it will be back later on this fall season, so if it’s up your alley, you’ll have another chance to snag it.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Be Humble & Forgiveness Nail Lacquers

Rescue Beauty Lounge Be Humble Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “taupe … [with] pink, blue, and lavender shimmers.” It’s a warm, muted, light-medium mauve with fine pink and lavender pearl (I couldn’t really pull out the blue). It applied well and was opaque in two coats. The formula is on the thicker side but the consistency didn’t affect the performance or application. Cult Nails Let’s Get Dirty is slightly pinker and warmer, but it is similar and the only shade I could think of that was similar (it also has a wax finish, so you’ll need a top coat to replicate the shine of Be Humble). See comparison swatches.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Become One, Smile, Thank You Nail Lacquers

Rescue Beauty Lounge Become One Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described an “opaque green” inspired by “young, verdant leaves in spring.” It’s a medium green cream with warm, yellow undertones. This was really rich in pigment and was nearly opaque in one coat, though I still found two to work best for full opacity. The consistency is slightly thick but not to the point where it hurts application, just makes the drying time a bit longer. It flowed well across the nail without pooling along the edges, bubbling, or streaking. I typically get a full week of wear with very minor tip wear with Rescue Beauty Lounge’s formula. Cult Nails Feelin’ Froggy is cooler-toned, more shimmery. China Glaze Starboard is slightly darker and cooler-toned. See comparison swatches.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Pause Nail Lacquer

Rescue Beauty Lounge Pause Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “mid-violet silky shimmer.” It’s a vibrant, medium-dark grape purple with violet shimmer and pearl. China Glaze Creative Fantasy is more like a jelly, so it has no shimmer, and it is also warmer/pinker. Illamasqua Poke has subtle shimmer, but the color is pinker and lighter–not as dark as Pause.
