NYX Merengue, Strawberry Parfait, Sugar Cookie Butter Glosses

NYX Butter Gloss ($5.00 for 0.27 fl. oz.) is supposed to have sheer to medium color coverage, a non-sticky texture, and be a hydrating formula. They feel really creamy going on, and they’re comfortable to wear with a lightly tacky texture that doesn’t feel heavy. The wear is slightly below average (three hours), but for something with as much creaminess, it is decent. Something I kept experiencing was just uneven coverage, though, where the color tended to settle into lip lines and/or look splotchy applied. I think they work better as a layering product (over lipstick or the like), rather than alone. The formula has a sweet, vanilla scent and was lightly hydrating.

NYX Apple Strudel, Cherry Cheesecake, Maple Blondie Butter Glosses

NYX Butter Gloss ($5.00 for 0.27 fl. oz.) is described as a “sheer to medium coverage” gloss that can be worn alone or over lipstick and “is never sticky.” The formula is also supposed to “provide nourishment.” They have a creamy, light-to-medium-weight consistency that glides on, feels comfortable, and is lightly tacky (they gradually get a little tackier as they wear on as well). The formula has a sweet, vanilla scent. As described, coverage varies from semi-sheer to semi-opaque. They wear two to three hours on me, on average, and they were slightly hydrating.

NYX Powder Blush Swatches (Part 2)

NYX Powder Blush ($5.99 for 0.14 oz.) comes in 27 shades (at least, that’s what I counted on their website), and I recently purchased 12 shades to swatch and (possibly) review. Not sure when/if I’ll have a chance to review all of them, but I know I’ll have a few reviews, at least. I can, however, promise you photos and swatches. :) You’ll also find these have been added to the Swatch Gallery/Dupe List features! Now, let’s take a look at the last six… (I you missed the first part, check it out here!)
