Marc Jacobs Beauty Fall 2016 Style Eye Con No. 20 Eye Palette
This limited-edition eye shadow palette features 20 plush shadows, curated into five rows of fashion-inspired looks. Makeup artist Diane Kendal curated the shadows for the complete eye wardrobe: a golden moment, red-carpet glamour, a modern smoky eye, daytime glamour, and a casual daytime look. The shimmery metallics, buttery mattes, and lustrous sheens are all formulated with advanced pigments to allow for true, instant color payoff and long-lasting plush performance. The oversized, collector’s edition gold palette opens to reveal a major infinity mirror, maximized for checking out your eye looks.
Marc Jacobs Air Blush
Marc Jacobs Beauty Air Blush ($42.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a real winner across the board. I think it actually comes pretty close to living up to its 24-hour claim, which I was completely surprised by. I wore three of the five shades twice to test wear, because the length of wear and strength of wear caught me off guard. The formula also lives up to its buildable coverage and color claims, as each shade can be lighter or darker, depending on whether you lean to the left or right of the compact or just swirl altogether. The pigmentation is solidly medium and buildable, but the silky, smooth texture makes it forgiving and easy to sheer out or build-up without it looking powdery or caked on the skin. Boy, these are like night and day compared to the brand’s original blush range.
