Make Up For Ever 30 Years 30 Colors 30 Artists Eyeshadow Palette
Make Up For Ever 30 Years 30 Colors 30 Artists Eyeshadow Palette ($250.00 for 30 x 0.08 oz.) is a limited edition palette to commemorate Make Up For Ever’s 30th anniversary. It’s available online through Sephora for VIB Rouges now (yesterday, it just said VIBs… today it says VIB Rogues) and will open up to everyone on the 9th. I pre-ordered and purchased mine from a Make Up For Ever boutique. Stock in boutiques is really low–the one I went to had 10 (all spoken for) and that was “a lot” of stock relative to other boutiques around the country, so your best bet is likely through Sephora (and probably online).
First, I plan to review all of the shades in the set, but I will likely review a few at a time so that reviews can come out sooner rather later (30 will take awhile to test for wear), so this post is to share photos and swatches of all of the shades included. Now, a few notes/observations:
- All of the shades included in the palette are part of the permanent Artist Shadow range, so you can purchase any of the shades individually/separately from this palette.
- Each eyeshadow is full-sized, and the cheapest a non-Pro person can purchase the Artist Shadows for is $14.33 each (excluding palettes/compacts), which makes the palette at least a value of $429.90. If you just take the price of each individual shade ($21, excluding compact), it would be $630. For me, this was the most budget-friendly way to get Make Up For Ever’s new eyeshadows to put in the Swatch Gallery for future reference. If you like more than 18 eyeshadows, then you would get your money’s worth.
- Each shade is removable, so you could always rearrange or move to other palettes/storage solutions.
- If you purchased the Artist Palette, there are several repeats here: M536 Milk Tea, I550 Olive Gray, ME230 Peacock Blue, ME930 Black Purple.
