Lip Lustres are supposed to be “non-sticky lipcolour, nearly as solid as lipstick, leaving rich colour on your lips but no goopy tackiness.” It had intense color payoff that yielded full color coverage. The color went on evenly and smoothly for a forgiving finish that was lightly shiny but not glossy (indeed, more like a liquid lipstick). The consistency is more liquid-like, but it isn’t runny as it has a denser, drier texture that is more comfortable applied than it seems initially, but it isn’t drying (nor hydrating). It also non-sticky as described. On me, the color lasted for five and a half hours before fading, and it left behind a slight stain. There was no discernible taste or smell.
Sometimes products are discontinued or limited edition, which means that a product may no longer be available at one or more retailers so you may need to shop around for those hard-to-find shades! We try to update products as they become discontinued, and if you discover a product has been discontinued, please help us help others by letting us know.
