Cameo Pink has semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage, as the underlying pink-coral base color tints and adds vibrancy to the lip while there’s a fair amount of gold shimmer which gives it a more opaque look, even though the natural lip color does come through. It has a slightly thicker, gel-like consistency that feels cushion-y and comfortable on the lips, and this shade wore well for five hours before starting to disappear. The formula was also hydrating, and the shimmer did not travel. It does have a floral-like scent but no discernible taste.
It's a nice happy medium: a coral that's still warm-toned but with plenty of pink; not quite opaque but not sheer. It works well on its own or layered with other lipsticks.

Burberry’s Lip Velvet is one of my favorite matte lipstick formulas, because it’s rich in color payoff, long-wearing, and comfortable to wear. The consistency is creamy enough that it glides on easily without tugging or pulling on the lip, but it stays put and doesn’t slide around. This also helps it stay on better and for longer–Peony Rose lasted nearly six hours on me and was somewhat hydrating while worn. It doesn’t feel heavy or thick, but it has full color coverage.
The formula is excellent and delivers on every aspect Burberry promised: long-wearing, rich color, hydrating and has a comfortable-to-wear formula.

Burberry Pale Nude (03) Complete Eye Palette ($59.00 for 0.19 oz.) contains a of muted browns, yellow, and white. The formula of the eyeshadows is supposed to be long-lasting with “vibrant color in a color-true finish.” One shade is “an illuminating base,” while two shades are more like regular eyeshadows, and one shade is designed to work more as an eyeliner.
Pale Nude #1 is a meduim-dark, golden brown with a satin finish. It had lovely color payoff and was very true-to-pan. The texture was soft and finely-milled but slightly powdery. Flower Beauty Foxy Browns #2 is darker. theBalm Allegro is more matte. Dior Golden Savannah is more frosted, slightly darker. MAC Moleskin is lighter, less warm-toned.
Pale Nude #2 is a light-medium beige-brown with a soft, frosted finish. It had good pigmentation but had a slightly powdery texture–it is not as buttery or as smooth as Burberry’s single eyeshadows. Too Faced Marzipan is lighter. Urban Decay Tease is darker, grayer. Chanel Beige Lame has more sparkle but is very similar.
Pale Nude #3 is a pale, lightly warmed-up yellow with a pearly finish. It had good color payoff, and it applied smoothly for the most part. NARS Misfit #1 is darker. Make Up For Ever #102 is slightly darker and matte.
The quality of the palette, overall, is not as good as individual shades within the Burberry eyeshadow range. What makes Burberry’s single eyeshadows so compelling is how soft, smooth, and velvety they feel; the textures are buttery and dense, and the powders apply so smoothly and evenly. They melt against the skin and always lie beautifully on the lid. Here, three of the four shades had a powderiness to the texture. When I wore the palette, it wore well for seven and a half hours and there was some slight fading just after eight hours. This is a combination of colors that would best suit paler complexions, and though I would say neutral to warm complexions would find this most flattering, the cooler white eyeshadow is either out of place or may be harder to use.

It has warm, golden tones to it, so it will do better on naturally warm-toned complexions, as it may turn too orange-y on pinker skin tones. The finish has a soft sheen to it along with a few bits of gold shimmer, but it translates well on the skin without emphasizing pores or imperfections. The color payoff was good; true-to-pan and buildable, which is where the soft, finely-milled texture came in handy. It can be worn at full strength or blended to a softer, sheerer color, depending on your preference and skin tone. Summer Glow added golden warmth and a gentle glow-y sheen without looking burnt (at least, on my skin tone). It wore for eight hours without fading, and after nine hours, there was only a touch of fading along the edges.

Burberry Dark Spice Complete Eye Palette ($59.00 for 0.19 oz.) contains four eyeshadows. The Complete Eye Palettes are supposed to contain “an illuminating base, two blendable shades, and a liner to define.” Each palette comes in a velvet pouch along with three sponge-tip applicators.
Dark Spice #1 is a warm-toned black with a satin finish–just a touch of sheen, so it’s not quite matte. It had good color payoff, but it’s not the most intense black I’ve come across, and the texture was slightly dry. It’s a basic kind of shade, so it’s likely that you have something similar in your stash already. Shades like Make Up For Ever #04 and MAC Carbon are similar in color but more matte. Le Metier de Beaute Fin is similar but more intense.
Dark Spice #2 is a warm-toned, bronze-shimmered brown with a pearly finish. It had excellent pigmentation, but the texture was slightly dry. Chanel Pearl River #5 is a bit darker. MAC Bronze is more golden. Laura Mercier Cedar is very similar, slightly more matte. Inglot #421 is warmer, not as brown.
Dark Spice #3 is a warm-toned, chestnut brown with strong red undertones and has a soft, satiny finish. It had great color payoff, but like the other shades, there was a very slight dryness to the texture. Clinique Fuller Fudge is more coppery. MAC Ever Elegant is more metallic, so it appears lighter. Tom Ford Illicit is a cream product but close in color. MAC Antiqued is similar in color but more metallic in finish.
Dark Spice #4 is a soft orange with a satin finish–it’s almost like goldenrod but more orange. It had good color payoff, and the texture was soft and buttery–it had the best feel of the four. Wet ‘n’ Wild Desert Festival #4 is darker, more orange. Chanel Pearl River #4 is brighter. Guerlain Calligraphy #2 is more frosted and orange. MAC Chessa is brighter and shimmery. Chanel Tigerlily is a touch lighter.
The major drawback of this palette is the texture, which is slightly dry, though the dryness doesn’t inhibit the color payoff by much (it only seemed to come into play with the black eyeshadow) or the wear, as when I wore the palette, I had no trouble with the colors lasting a full nine hours without any creasing or fading. Burberry’s single eyeshadows, though, have a very soft, buttery texture, and these all felt slightly less buttery, not quite as soft or as smooth. Good but not as fantastic as the singles tend to be, so from that perspective, I was disappointed. The colors go well together, and for those with warmer complexions, this could be an easy, everyday kind of palette. I just wish the feel was like the singles.

The texture is incredibly soft and velvety–finely-milled, smooth, and sits nicely on the skin without being powdery or emphasizing imperfections. It’s blendable, and buildable, but it is a lighter shade, so it is better suited for light to light-medium complexions. On my medium skin tone, it is very subtle and adds a faint rosiness. It wore well for eight hours, and it started to fade after nine hours. The texture and feel of Burberry’s blushes is amazing, but this color is less universal compared to some of the other shades in their catalog so medium and darker complexions may want to look to another shade.
