C.O. Bigelow Warm Spiced Cider Lip Shine Review, Photos

Date: November 9, 2009 - Posted in: C.O. Bigelow, Lip Balm, Lip Products, Lipgloss, Product Photos/Swatches

C.O. Bigelow Warm Spiced Cider Lip Shine ($7.50 for 0.5 oz.) is a sheer, shimmery lip jelly that spells like a apple cider and tastes sweet. I very rarely lick my lips, but this tastes so yum! This particular flavor is part of the Mentha Lip Cordials, so there is a bit of a cooling sensation when you initially apply it, and apparently it also freshens breath (zero calories!). It gives lips a glossy look with just a touch of shimmer but no real color (which is fine) while keeping them hydrated while you wear it. Warm Spiced Cider is new for the holiday season, along with Hot Buttered Rum, Triple Hot Chocolate, and Vanilla Cream Eggnog. I find I apply this when I’m running errands or around the house to keep my lips in tip top shape.

Haha, well, I don’t know about a gag gift. Those are usually not so awesome, LOL! I mean, I wish people gave me these as a gag gift, but alas, usually nothing quite so fun.

But definitely a great stocking stuffer ;)

I just have to throw in my two cents and say this brand is my ALL-TIME favorite lip balm/gloss. I’ve never had anything perform longer. It’s slightly sticky as any gloss will be, but not grossly so by any means. And they really do all taste amazing due to the peppermint oil. :)

I’m so on board with these glosses, the only drawback is they are sweetened with saccarine.

Hello! I was wondering, if it’s not too much trouble, will you could take a picture of the back of the tube to show the ingredients? I have been searching for them all over the internet but can’t seem to find them. Thank you in advance.

      Hi Kayla,

I don’t have the time to take individual photo/swatch requests (it’s a fairness issue for me — if I do it for you, then I would have to do it for all, but it wouldn’t be feasible to do it for everyone). My best advice is to contact C.O. Bigelow via their website or B&BW and ask customer service for an ingredient list. If there’s a certain ingredient you want to see if it’s there, it is much faster for me to look and see if it’s there rather than taking photos, cropping them, and uploading them, so you’re also welcome to do that!

      Thank you for understanding!

I have to thank you for talking about these new glosses, I bought all 4 brand new for $24 with free shipping after searching long and hard for a good deal because you convinced me to buy em! lol I love Hot buttered Rum and Warm Spiced Cider the most…Hot Buttered Rum reminds me of butterscotch candies, and the eggnog one doesn’t taste as much like eggnog as I’d hoped, but they’re all very yummy. :D
