Powerful Palette

Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Palettes

The launch of the Pretty Powerful Palettes marks the first anniversary of Bobbi Brown’s iconic Pretty Powerful Campaign. Inspired by her favorite look—a fresh and healthy one—Bobbi’s palettes are designed to be universally flattering.

“I’ve always loved a natural look but that doesn’t have to mean nude color, and it certainly doesn’t mean washed out color. The Pretty Powerful Palettes are filled with pink tones that range from soft to warm and even a shot of bright to create a healthy look because nothing is more beautiful to me than a healthy complexion,” says Bobbi.

Offered in two shade ranges designed with all complexions in mind, each palette contains four neutral eye shadows and complementary pink shades for lips and cheeks.

“I really believe that when you feel good about yourself, there’s no limit to what you can do in your life—and that’s pretty powerful stuff.” — Bobbi Brown

    These look really nice.

  2. Desiree

I hope it’s not as small as her anniversary palettes! Those things were teeny!

  3. Frances

Other than the pink eye shadows, I like them.

  4. Ann

There’s nothing there that really grabs me. I will be passing on this.

I had a quick question for everyone– how do you guys manage with makeup palettes that include e/s, blush, and gloss on the same level? What I mean is- how do you keep your powder products out of the gloss?

I hate when palettes include the gloss right next to the blush or eyeshadow (i know they do it to keep material/production costs down), but still, I find it quite annoying.

  6. Kelly

This is almost Neapolitan looking. I love it!

  7. i like the powerful one but it would depend on how big these turn out to be. very pretty colors tho

  8. Michelle

I think these are just what Bobbi wanted them to be — pretty and wearable. I think these are pretty, neutral palettes.

  9. Brittany

So pretty but at $60 I’ll pass!

  10. Lucie

Hmmm, I usually really don’t like Bobbi Brown…but the Powerful palette looks useful. Might pick this one up!

I wish I could love this, but pink does not work for me.

  12. I’ve been drooling over these palettes since I first heard they were coming out. So going to check this out and possibly splurge if I like how the colors swatch on me :) Can’t wait!

  13. Dana

I love these colors she chose! Seems very wearable, to work or out and about..

  14. Therese

I understand that Bobbi is trying to make the palette as everyday wearable as possible but these are just unimpressive…

Lord knows I have enough Bobbi Brown Palettes, but I really like the look of these. A very easy eye and great fro travel.

I am sorry I also forgot to add (sorry gang, kids out of school + Christmas excitement + too much time spent together =CHAOS! LOL!)

I don’t usually get kicked up dust from my bobbi brown shadows, but I do prefer the palettes that fold up instead of closing.

Excellent name for product. It really gives off the vibe of being the “pretty palette.” Not sure if that makes sense to anyone else…

  17. pretty colors for spring 2011

  18. Mela

It’s available in Nordstroms already.I got the Powerful Palette :)

  19. Laurence - from France

Not very fond of them, I think these palettes are definately not original enough, I have those kinds of colours in my previous BB products & palettes… I’am glad as I will not spend money this spring !
