Bobbi Brown Iced Blue Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick
Bobbi Brown Iced Blue Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick

Bobbi Brown Iced Blue Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick ($28.00 for 0.05 oz.) is described as a “shimmering blue grey.” It’s a cool-toned, blue-tinted silver with a frosted, metallic finish. Definitely more silver than it is blue, but it’s the exact color I thought of when I read the name “Iced Blue.” MAC Frozen Blue is grayer, darker, less blue. Urban Decay Strip is just a touch darker–but this was the shade I immediately thought of when I swatched Iced Blue. Urban Decay Mary Jane is darker and bluer. The Glossover

Iced Blue

C
How unfortunate that Iced Blue starts to show creasing by the sixth hour, when it's supposed to wear for eight! It could also be a bit more pigmented.

I think you may have posted the wrong photo at the end of the post! It doesn’t look like you used iced blue there :p

  2. Isn’t it frustrating when a product claims to be long wearing and then ends up being anything but that? Seriously, they must test this before launching new products, so why pick that name then? It just makes the disappointment bigger.

Wow – really surprised at this considering Golden Pink got an A+ and Forest got an A. How could this one be so different?

I was just thinking the same thing! The reviews on these (even from other beauty blogs) seem pretty mixed. I’m definitely willing to give these a try though esp since Christine graded all the one’s I’m truly interested nicely.

  4. My goodness; what a difference a shade can make! I feel like consistency within a product line is one of those things that’s really important to me — I would almost prefer to see 10 products functioning at a B than (for instance) 3 at an A+ and 7 at a C, you know?

Anyhow. I guess I just like to know what to expect :P Tsk tsk, Bobbi Brown!
