I normally love holiday collections but this collection just has too many dull, dirty taupes for my taste. I usually wear nothing but neutrals and earth tones, but these colours aren’t really anything special :( which is disappointing because I was kinda looking forward to seeing more amazing holiday releases!

I’ve been considering the smokey cool palette but since I don’t live near a counter, I’d like to find swatches first.

Ooh, I’ve wanted Bronzed Heather for a while now, and I like the look of Pink Glitter (kind of looks like Mac Nymphette, and mine’s almost run out) – might have to get the lipgloss trio.

  4. The first few eye palettes are looking promising!

Wow, I am so tempted by all of this! I like Bobbi Brown, but am rarely rushing out to see her new collections. But this one looks like a must! xo

I feel I could get use of the Everyday Pretty Lip & Eye Palette and that it is somewhat affordable and compact.

Whoaaa, Nellie! That lip and eye palette is actually $80, not $30. Wishful thinking!

I love the look of the shimmer brick eyeshadows. Every time I have come across Bobbi Brown makeup I have loved admiring the shimmer brick stuff, even though it would probably make my skin look more greasy than it usually does.

  9. OMG that Shimmer Brick looks amazing!

  10. I can’t wait to see the swatches for these! They look gorgeous and I want them all!

  11. I have a love hate thing with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Not a bad brand, I do enjoy purchasing a palette here and there…..but I just feel they are highly over priced. The quality is a hit and miss. Few good colors in a palette and some not so good ones. If I am paying good money I want every color to have quality and useable. Some just to to much shimmer and glitter that make it not a daily wear item. The lip glosses for the quantity are highly over priced and the quality just not worth the price point. Just my thought

Their holiday collection looks the same every year. meh

  13. Liz

The train case looks amazing but that is way too much money.

  14. The eyeshadow palettes are a pretty selection of colors, not that I need more neutrals

Buyer beware. I just saw the eyeshadow shimmer brick in real life and boy is it tiny! Color payoff is so-so (typical eyeshadows for Bobbi, IMO). I was not impressed at all. Was going to purchase and completely changed my mind.

  16. I want the shimmer brick, and some of the eye palettes look nice but her eye shadows seems really hit and miss in the palettes.

  17. Rebecca

I’ve seen swatches of the Smokey Cool palette and still kind of want it. :) I just bought the Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette, though.

  18. karynne

To me she has gotten more & more overpriced for less & less product. The value just isn’t there for a consumer cosmetic junkie like myself. Nothing new here and not worthy.

  19. smfrances

The quality of her palettes has really gone down in recent years in my opinion. They used to be comparable to the singles or the individual lipsticks but not any more. I wonder if she outsources them?

  20. Everything looks nice but BB is a brand i just can’t seem to get into.

  21. Annie

Bleh. The colors are genric and uninspired. Just like someone said:”Dirty Taupes” and with a holiday set, I expect beautiful, unique colors that I couldn’t find anywhere. Oh well…
