Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lip Color Collection
Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lip Color Collection

Bobbi Brown’s iconic Lip Color is now available in new shades that combine high-shine emollients and light-reflective pearls for something completely fresh. Don’t think metallic or frost—the effect is sheer and multi-dimensional. The lightweight yet moisturizing formula glides effortlessly and evenly onto lips, leaving a thin veil of light-reflecting color that lasts for hours without feathering or drying.

High Shimmer Lip Color ($28.00) (New, Permanent)

Each shade is formulated with a unique blend of pearls for an effect that’s intensely reflective yet soft and wearable; individual pearls have a smooth, flat shape and reflective, mirror-like quality. Luxurious butters and oils like Shea Butter and Muru Muru Butter help seal in moisture and keep lips feeling supple and conditioned.

oooooh! these look very nice! i usually wear chanel rouge coco shines when spring and summer come. i’m hoping these will be a great alternative! and, since their labeled “shimmery”, maybe you won’t need a gloss! that seems great!! i will be excited to try these! thanky for posting!! xo.

  6. Myeah, they look very shimmery indeed. Not sure how I feel about that.

  7. I don’t typically go for shimmery lipstick, but a couple of the shades here look really nice!

  8. Shimmery lipsticks are not my thing, so I would definitely pass on this collection.

I can’t wait to see how they look on

  11. ‘Don’t think frost’ and ‘sheer, multidimensional’ sound VERY TEMPTING. I’m really interested to see how these turn out, and whether they live up to that ‘not a frost’ claim. It looks like they have some really pretty colours there!

  12. I love pinky and beigey nude colours with a bit of shimmer.. these look very interesting to me as long as they don’t stray into full on frost.

  13. For once I’m seeing quite a few shades I’m interested in. I haven’t tried Bobbi Brown’s lipsticks yet. I might have to pick one first see how moisturizing it is.

Please swatch these, Christine! Love shimmer finish in lipstick as they make the lips look plumper and younger, in my opinion. And we all know how you adore her High Shimmer glosses. So, PLEASE? :)

  15. Too shimmery for me =] but they do look lovely.

  16. I saw these in person when I was in Hong Kong a few weeks ago. The shimmer particles are on the larger side, I was none too pleased about that. Pretty colours, but not my cup o’tea. Can’t attest to what they feel like on the lips, but you could feel (and see) the shimmer when I swatched a couple of shades on the back of my hand.

I used to love these years ago , when I first started buying the BB brand. they were discontinued. Now renamed and reintroduced. Funny how they of that1

I bought the pink gold shimmer lipstick the other day from Sephora. It was love at first swatch for me, but then again I’m a sucker for anything peachy pink, especially if it has shimmer. It reminds me a bit of Orgasm as a lipstick but with a little lighter and a little more shimmery, so I guess maybe more like TheBalm’s Hot Mama blush as a lipstick? (As a side note, why there is no Orgasm lipstick is beyond me. Unless there is and I’ve just been living in a cave. But I bought the Orgasm lipgloss to where on top of the Bobbi Brown lipstick so at least I will still get my fix that way)

I’m happy to see that she has brought back a her full line of shimmer lipsticks. For the longest they have been away from the collection. I will definitely be trying these out as the formula is new.

  20. I’m SO excited for swatches. A couple of these sound like they might replace my long discontinued “Fresh Salmon” from MAC…

I will have to go the the store to choose colors. I like a bit of shimmer in lipstick. I’m pretty pale so the white based lipsticks make me look on the dead side. My granddaughter is more towards the olive spectrum so she benefits from my errors.
    The colors look beautiful.
