Bobbi Brown Corrector & Creamy Concealer

Bobbi’s taken her number one beauty secret and made it even better. “This new formula gives you quick, perfect coverage. It’s rich and creamy without being thick—so it goes on easily and blends smoothly with minimal effort.” — Bobbi Brown

Reformulated to deliver perfect coverage, the new Correctors and Creamy Concealers erase dark circles as only Bobbi Brown can. Bobbi believes that the secret to covering dark circles lies in a unique two-step approach. She starts with pink- or peachtoned Corrector to brighten and neutralize the purple and green tones of under eye circles. For pale skin, she recommends the lighter Corrector shades starting with Porcelain Bisque. For deeper skin tones, she recommends the Medium to Dark Bisque and Peach Shades. Next, Bobbi uses yellow-toned Creamy Concealer to lighten and blend the under eye area with the rest of the face.

corrector was my first branded makeup item i bought. Love that now it both come into 1 set.

  2. I really want to purchase that! heard good things about the correctors/concealers :) but i m still not too sure, especially because there are so many other good drugstore concealers as well :/ buy or not to buy :///

  3. I want to try it, but the previous concealer marked all my wrikles. It was too paste for me!

I like that the promo photo actually shows the tiny little lines that are underneath eyes. Doesn’t make me feel like I’m an alien with premature wrinkles on my eyes like other makeup promo photos do.

I’ve been using Bobbi Brown’s Corrector and Concealer for almost a year now. I really do love it and it definitely gets rid of my dark circles without looking cakey. I’m actually almost out of my corrector so I’ve been meaning to pick up a new one, although I bit worried about this ‘new formula’….hopefully it’s not too different. It would shame if it doesn’t perform as well as before.

Actually, I just spoke with several people at various BB counters and the customer service department and they all confirmed that the so-called “new” formula is actually the old formula before the most recent one, which is the one where there are only like 6-7 corrector shades. They said that the most recent formula was a little too creamy and didn’t really set and would migrate into fine lines, etc. So they’re going back to the old formula and the old shades apparently. By the way, I’m only talking about the corrector. I personally don’t use the concealer because it doesn’t have enough coverage for me. I hope that helped. :]

i wish the set came with corrector + concealer not concealer+ powder. i definitely would have purchased if that was the case.

    • Me too! That’s a little disappointing :( Almost $45 for the pair that apparently MUST go together? A liiiittle steep for me… we’ll see.

i completely agree with you there.

      Check out qvc.com
They sell a bobbi brown face palette that includes concealer, corrector, stick foundation and setting powder. One version contains a brush for an extra $20. Don’t think its worth it, but the palette alone is $38. Note, this is a VERY small purse size palette!!!

      • Charito

I actually own this palette. Although it is pricey for the amount of makeup that you get, it’s very convenient for traveling and throwing it in your purse for touch-ups.

Since i bought a metallic cream shadow and it was awful i don’t want to buy anymore stuff from her, i’m afraid to waste my money again =P

Help! What shades should I use in Bobbi Brown corrector and concealer if I’m NC20-NC25 in MAC foundation. There is not a BB counter near me so I would have to purchase online

    • Maggie

I’m the same color range, closer to NC20, and NC25 is a little orange on me. I use the concealer in Sand and the correcter in Light Bisque. I was told to use bisque-tone, which reads pink, if you have gray undereye circles, but peach-tone if you have bluish circles. The concealer itself is yellow-tone, which is good for purple circles. Mine reads purple-gray-brown, so together they do the job; and on good days, the concealer itself is enough for me. Also Light Peach corrector was very similar to the Sand concealer on me, so using the two together seemed redundant. You could also chat online with a Bobbi Brown consultant on the website, and it worked well for me.

You can check it in the Foundation Matrix on the sidebar of this site!

Your best bet is to go to bobbibrown.com and live chat with one of their associates who wtll direct you to your best colors.

    • Michelle

I’m NC 25- NC30 and I use BIsque Corrector and Beige Concealer. You should try a chat with a BB makeup artist on line. They are very helpful.

    • Charito

      Svetlana,
If you go to the bobbi brown website, you can speak directly with one of their makeup artists. They should be able to help you find your correct match.

I am loving the corrector shades, but they don’t work for me.They settled into every line i have and wore off too fast.Too bad because there are not many correctors with easy usage and lots of color options on the market.
btw,the pic looks natural, not over photoshopped.I guess it is the trend of the season:)

  11. Chi

Great job, the loos e powder was quite messy.

  12. Crystal

I bought this about two weeks ago and I absolutely love it!

  13. Monica

Omg i just bought this 2 days ago and I am in love with it! The corrector with the concealer is amazing. But the corrector is probably what seals the deal. I have dark purple circles and they diminish the look of them all day without any caking. And they reformulated this concealer so now it’s much more silkier and smoother.
For reference: I am an NC30-NC35 in MAC but I do have dark purplish circles so I ended up with Medium to Dark Bisque Corrector and Warm Natural Concealer Duo.

Will you do swatches of these? Thanks

  15. Oh I how love Bobbi Brown’s Cream Concealer! My HG that I discovered last month. I can’t wait to try the new packaging when my concealer is finished. I still need to get my hands on the corrector though.

I really love MAC ProLongwear but I’m willing to give this new combo from Bobbi Brown a try – assuming I can find it at a store near me (my local Sephora may or may not have it).

  17. I love the promo photo. So…real @_@ Her skin has texture!

  18. Lia

Been using this for 3 years everyday! that”s about 4 pans already. I didn’t use the recommended brush for this though. Instead I used the body shop eyeshadow brush.
Tried various other brands but dunno I just keep coming back to BB’s concealer.
For some really dark days, the corrector is really a God’s gifts. But for normal days, the corrector would work amazing itself. Do give it a try!

  19. Adelita

I haven’t found a concealer/corrector that can truly erase my dark circle, but I have to admit it, using Bobbi Brown’s Corrector & Concealer is the best thing I can do to reduce the appearance of those ugly dark circles without looking that I’m putting too much concealer.

  20. ak

I bought a long time ago their Concealer/Corrector (whichever it is) that has the yellow powder at the bottom of it, a long time ago, but I really did like it and I felt that it did its job. Can’t remember off the top of my head the name of the color I got though.

  21. Jasmine

I’ve been using the light peach corrector and the concealer/powder duo in medium, and they both work perfectly. I am #140 in MUFE HD foundation, and about NC32 in MAC studio fix powder….give it a try, its worth it!
