Bobbi Brown Cabana Corals Collection: Cabo Coral Pot Rouge
Bobbi Brown Cabo Coral Pot Rouge ($22.00) is one of two new shades from the Bobbi Brown Cabana Corals Collection. The other shade is Calypso Coral (a bright coral).
Cabo Coral is a very peachy coral. It’s more peach than coral–but it does have a slight pinkness to it that makes it read a little coral. I found it looked more coral on my lips (I imagine from some of the natural pinkness of my lips) than on my cheeks (which was peachier).
Pot Rouges are designed to be used on both lips and cheeks. It has a creamy formula that feels like like a hardened cream almost, because it’s not actually that creamy in the pot. On the cheeks, it’s easy to apply with a stippling brush or blended with fingertips or a sponge for soft, natural color. It’s peach enough to work well on cooler skin tones, while it also works on those with warmer skin tones.
What I really like about the Pot Rouges is the staying power. This is more of a blush stain than a cream blush, because it really does grab and stay on cheeks throughout the day. It doesn’t fade or melt away by mid-afternoon, which is a huge plus for when you need your makeup to look on point all day long. It’s pigmented enough to give you nice color on both lips and cheeks, but not so pigmented that it’s easy to overapply.
This is my first Pot Rouge, but it makes me excited to check out some other shades. What are your favorites?

Hi there, I know you posted this a while ago I don't know if you see this, but I really hope you can reply to this!! Anyways, I like the dewy look and hate anything powdery or matte, I was wondering if the pot rouge leaves a more dewy finish or a more semi-matte finish? Thank you in advance!!

I know this has been around awhile, but I just got Cabo Coral and love it! I never thought I could wear corals, but this made my eyes look incredibly blue and looks great. I tried it on my lips, put a clear gloss over it and it's perfect. BB Pot Blushes are my favorite and this makes my fourth one. It lasts all day even on my slightly oily skin.
i actually have another color, but this is so nice!! What do you think Christine...before or after with mineral/ powder foundation?

Nope, not dry! It lasts a good while, since it stains lips a little.
I read in a magazine, I believe it was an issue of In style with Anne Hathaway on the cover, that this color is supposed to look good on all skin tones but they failed to mention you can wear it on your lips too! I'm sold!

I love the pot rouges! I got Cabo Coral and love it - it definitely is more peachy than coral I'm on the fence about calypso coral - but it wasn't discontinued here so I have time to decide. My favourite is Velevet plum...its soooo pretty I also have chocolate cherry, blushed rose and pink truffle. Did I say i really like them?

Leave it. I rather save up for Back to the Beach and the Papier one. I want to many things from those two to be thinking about this pretty color on my cheeks and its awesome staying power =/ LEAVE IT!!!!

I bought this recently. It has very buildable color. It can be as sheer or as deep as you want it to be! I love that about it and other cream blushes. It is not my favorite cream blush (that old lancome mousse blush in pink parfait that was discontinued was my fav) but this is great. I'm esp looking forward to using this in the summer when its a hot day and I want staying power!
