I use to work for M.A.C for years and years and this was always something was in my kit. I can’t imagine being a make-up artist without it. The BEST and FUNNIEST use of Cleanse Off oil was when we worked at the counters, we would use it to polish the stands and wood displays. We would wipe down with alcohol first and then buff cleanse off oil on the surfaces. I also found that it is one of the better products to use for removing hair dye from your skin and countertops. Cleanse Off Oil is hands-down in the top five products for me.

Are they gentle on the actual eye? – as in if it gets into the eye whilst removing mascara/eyeliner..how about waterline?

I would never try Shu Uemura’s… the main ingredient is mineral oil! Bad news.

For me this Cleansing Oil is a revelation. I’ve been using it for 3 months now and my skin has never been more beautiful (well to me that is). No break outs, very soft skin almost moisturized, so easy to use. I am 46 with Normal/Combination Skin. I’ve been spreading the good word about this product around me and I have now followers!

I think you could for your eye/lip makeup remover – I wouldn’t use it on the face (it might cause breakouts)!
