Becca Hyawatha Loose Shimmer Powder
The Everywhere Highlighter
Becca Hyawatha Loose Shimmer Powder ($20.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a beautiful candlelit nude — it’s just a slight warmth, golden tone, but it’s not actually gold. It has an ultra smooth, ridiculously fine-milled texture; it feels like silk when pressed against skin. It even seems to adhere just fine without any sort of liquid or adhesive-based product (like Mixing Medium) when used as a highlighter. The fine texture makes it easy to mix in with your foundation or moisturizer for a quick and easy all-over glow.
Each jar packs a lot of product, too — so many brands do loose powders/pigments, but they’re usually less than 0.10 oz. (more like 0.05 oz.!), and Becca stampedes in with a hefty 0.15 oz. Like many loose colors, a little goes a long way, so it doesn’t take much to get that effortless glow. I didn’t see this product on Becca’s website at the moment (I bought mine during a HauteLook sale), but it’s readily available at other e-tailers like Dermstore and Glow.

I have this in pressed form: odette and angel. I love them both. Would this particular shade suit someone who is NC50? Because its yellow toned and i have golden undertones? What do you think?
Christine, is the jar full when you first got if? I bought mine online but the product isn't filled up to the rim.
Thanks so much for this review. It can be hard finding reviews of Becca products these days and I usually just take a gamble buying them. :)
I don't have this particular shade but I do already own Princess (pale nude pink), Odette (soft old gold) and Gypsy (bright rose) - I love them, silky soft, utterly blendable and with just the right amount of shimmer. I just fold up a piece of clean tissue and stuff it in the gap between sifter and lid when I travel to stop too much product escaping. You can use them for just about everything!
Wow this looks like a beautiful highlight. It's only a bummer there would be one product I'd be buying since I do not see this Sephora, am I wrong?? I'm also going to check Ulta. I love buying more than one product so the shipping $$ is worth it.
I'm sorry, silly me. I looked at the glow website and that seems to have some brands I know of :D Forget that last comment!
Yeah, Becca can be hard to find. It seems like online at their website (but all of the loose shimmer powders are out of stock) or at other etailers!
