Bare Escentuals bareMinerals The Epiphany Eyeshadow Duo
Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow Duos: The Epiphany
Bare Escentuals bareMinerals The Epiphany Eyeshadow Duo ($20.00 for 0.10 oz.) contains two shades: A-Ha and Foreshadow. This duo launches in October, and it’s touted as a solid eyeshadow with SeaNutritive Mineral Complex that is “creamy, silky smooth” with “seamless blendability” and “stay-true color” that is long-wearing when worn alone without creasing or budging. When worn alone (without an eyeshadow primer), the new pressed eyeshadows wear around ten hours. For more details on packaging, please read my original review.
A-Ha is a warmed-over gray-tinged brown with a frosted finish. It had good color payoff, and the texture was dense and buttery, which allowed for a smooth application. It is a bit less red-toned compared to Urban Decay Midnight Rodeo. It is similar to Bobbi Brown Sandy Rose, just more intense.
Foreshadow is a dark, red-toned brown with a near-matte finish. The powder is so finely milled–it has a soft, silky texture that gives it a very crisp, smooth application with excellent color payoff. It’s less red compared to Make Up For Ever #162, but it’s softer than MAC Embark. It is closest to Inglot #378 but better pigmentation.
Where to Buy: October 2011 at Bare Escentuals, Sephora, $20
The Glossover
This is a lovely duo of neutrals--with a slight warmth, but not too much--and I'm quite surprised at how well both shades work. Even the matte finished shade is a dream to apply; it has such a silky texture that's clearly been milled a few times, which makes it easy to blend while still having good color coverage.

Is it limited edition?
No.
Any dupes?

I know a lot of people are talking about these, but I didn't know they were that good. BE should consider pressing a lot more products.
I've been searching high and low for a great everyday duo to simplify my makeup routine. This could be it! I'll have to pick it up soon :] here's hoping my local Sephora carries it.
pretty neutral....good for someone experimenting with makeup..or want neutrals...but not for the adventurous one like me.
It's nice, but for me I feel like these two colors don't really go together. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't choose to wear these together. They're pretty though.
Love the lighter side but the darker one just isn't to my liking so I'll probably pass on this just because of the colour. A+ is pretty meaningful praise coming from you, Christine.
What's really impressive to me is seeing that Bare Escentuals is clearly invested in making quality products, even in a territory that's totally new for them (pressed instead of loose). It's refreshing after seeing brands like MAC rush-release so many sub-par products for their collections...
I think they're doing some good things - I really liked their skincare range, and it was well-edited. They made it easy to figure out what to try, and their products are basic and streamlined without over-promising (forever a problem in skincare). Their skincare range is actually what made me go, "I really need to take a harder look at the brand!"
Wow, Christine. I think you have convinced me to buy this duo! The dirty brown shade looks so unique.
Satin Taupe is so much darker! http://www.temptalia.com/mac-me-over-eyeshadows-swatches-photos-reviews
It's much lighter, that's what I was pointing out :) Satin Taupe is darker, not just cooler-toned IMO!
