I'm a poor college student, too - BUT I saved up a lot of money when I was just a kid, plus most of what I made through work went right back into makeup, LOL. Anyway, buy what works for you, whether it's cheap or expensive :) Makeup is meant to be fun, so experimentation is fun, too! And nobody says you have to do a crazy look and leave the house with it. ;) It took me quite awhile to feel comfortable in really bold blue looks. I always feared I looked like Mimi from the Drew Carey show. Thank you so much! It's just a matter of finding the best colors, all of which, pale in comparison to the ones in your posession.
