NYX is always releasing a new formula, and even when they bring out a new formula, they do it in a grand fashion–they’ll release a whole slew of shades and finishes. They have such a large range that there is really little left to be desired! It’s nice to see a brand that is constantly trying out new formulas, shades, and fine-tuning their range to offer the best products to their customers.

NYX Eyeshadow Base is a short and sweet product in three different shades (White, Pearl, and Skin Tone). I find Pearl is nice under more shimmery shades, but Skin Tone is good in a variety of situations, so it’s more versatile. It does a good job of extending the wear of your eyeshadow and giving you a base for the color to grab onto and look true to form.
NYX’s Powder Blush range has so many colors that it also has great hues that work well for contouring the skin–favorites being Taupe and Cocoa. This formula is lightweight, blendable, and nicely pigmented.
NYX Powder Blush comes in so many shades that it’s going to be hard not to find at least one shade that works well for you. Because of the variety, there are softer shades, bolder hues, and everything in-between, making it a range that is interesting and versatile.
These provide semi-matte, mostly opaque color coverage to lips. It’s a softer matte look, so it’s not as drying as full-on mattes can be, and the liquid application allows for a creamier, more even application. Sometimes with a matte finish, it will drag across the lips and apply in patches, but these apply even without trouble.
For a traditional lip pencil, these are exceptionally creamy and glide on easily. They also wear well without feeling dry. If you can’t find the shade you need amongst NYX’s 53 different lip pencils, I don’t know you ever will!
